Nothing
It was very unclean smelt of damp. Flies in the room. And not very child friendly.
Value for money, staff were very pleasant, facilities were fine
Cracks in the tiles, no service on the TV, Netflix account signed out after 2 hours of usage, prime video was not available
Fantastic
Everything is perfect
Good location. Rooms and facilities somewhat neat. Telly was not working and staff felt indifferent to get it sorted.
Breakfast was very basic and cold.
Location
It was well located. As a lone traveller I felt safe and for the price it was good.
No decaf coffee.
Small areas that needed a bit more cleaning.
Nothing
Room was dirty. Lumps of dirt on the carpet. The bathroom was disgusting. The shower looked as if it had never been cleaned in months
Local to where I needed to be
There’s basic and there’s basic, whatever they had used to clean the floor with made it very sticky, that’s if it had been cleaned. Satin pillow cases…….? Really! I could work out if it was somewhere for those seeking asylum or roomed rented by the hour. I don’t particularly feel
Safe or comfortable
It was in a good location, easy to walk to and from the train station and also the main centre and university. Staff were very friendly and helpful.
Rooms and corridors were a bit ‘tired’ but generally clean.
There was a lot of shouting outside the hotel overnight as it is based on a main road, plus guests shouting in the corridors overnight.
Didn't eat there would have got food poisoning
Everything. Hotel needs demolishing
Dated and tired
Very friendly and welcoming staff.
Good parking and access to routes in and out of Middlesbrough.
For a hotel, the facilities were basic, dated and a little scruffy in places, with loose plug sockets. Beds were clean, but we had a fly in our (clean) toilet, along with a stained small blanket.
Breakfast only until 9am and limited choices. It felt like a start up business with lessons still being learned ... BUT, the staff were all friendly, so helpful and made our stay much more positive than we initially expected. Parking on site was plentiful, very close to Teeside Uni and local amenities. With a little more attention to detail, this could be a thriving hotel. This may have just been "two of those days", every business has them, but again, the staff were wonderful.
A perfect stay in a lovely smallish room that was a good price for one overnight stay
Staff very friendly
Very basic hotel
The location was perfect for my needs
The staff were friendly and polite
On the booking it stated either a bath or a shower was available for the type of room I booked- I request a bath - on getting to my room it was a shower- spoke to the receptionist who advised all double rooms only have a shower.
The only room available with a bath was the triple room which I would have to pay an extra £15 for
I did this as I can not manage a shower.
Think this needs updating on the hotel site.
Whilst I then had a bath the plug for said bath didn't fit very well but as I was already getting sorted for my bath it was too late to report to reception. I did manage to sort it with some clever thinking
