Ideal for central London sites
Pros:

Good size room with comfy bed. Helpful welcoming staff. Close to the river and southbank. Good facilities.

Location was central but tube stations were about 15-20 minute walk away.

Cons:

I was quite disappointed that there was decorating going on on the fourth floor where we staying. I think this should have been mention on booking or maybe the room should have been discounted because of this or even free breakfast thrown in. The room its self was lovely however the corridor was dusty and dirty and it was walked into our room. Also it was noisy due to the decorating going on.

Que la nevera no funcionará y la tv tampoco, tuvimos q solicitar que viniera el técnico, quien pudo dejar la tv funcionando, mientras que la nevera nunca funciono, solo prendio la luz, pero nunca enfrio ninguna de las cosas q compramos para tomar

Satisfactory for our requirements and everything we needed

Good Location, Good Services, Friendly Staff

Cons:

Only that there was work going on during our stay on floor 4 and it was particularly noisy, dusty and paint smelly. But Staff were very helpful and moved us to floor 2

A great comfortable stay
Pros:

Great location. Clean hotel the breakfast is definitely worth adding on if you haven’t got it. They also provided my wife with a lovely card and a chocolate cake very thoughtful

Colazione ottima. Bar e ristorante ottimi responsabile. Posizione centrale ma un tantino distante dalla fermata della metropolitana, circa 15 min a piedi.

Cons:

Al nostro arrivo, abbiamo trovato sul nostro piano, il pavimento incellofanato in quanto erano in corso dei lavori di pitturazione che rendevano disagevole il passaggio a causa della polvere e cattivo odore.

Unwilling to offer flexibility and proper customer service
Pros:

I was not able to stay at the Novotel London Waterloo. I booked my room through booking.com and my travel plans changed, and I needed to shift my two night reservation by one night, from a Friday/Saturday to Saturday/Sunday the same weekend. I booked a non-refundable room, but I wasn't asking to cancel or for a refund. The hotel refused to accommodate me despite there being rooms available. They would allow me to book the same room for a third night but would not simply shift the reservation. Booking.com told me that how they handle these situations is entirely at their discretion. If they had honored my request, I would likely be writing a glowing review, praising them for being helpful and offering excellent customer service. Unfortunately, that is not the case. I do not recommend this hotel and will be telling all of my colleagues in London about this situation and to avoid sending referring visitors there.
