Pros:

Die Lage ist sehr gut, das Personal sehr freundlich. Alles ist sauber und das Frühstück sehr gut. Besonders die Dachterrasse mit Pool (auch im Oktober nützlich) mit Bar und Restaurant ist positiv zu erwähnen.

Excelente atención
Pros:

Hotel veterano en las proximidades del Puerto, buena zona para acceder caminando al casco histórico. Habitaciones muy amplias y limpias. Buffet de desayunos completísimo y muy bueno. Personal atento, amable y juvenil, en especial excelente la atención de Álvaro en el ámbito de la Recepción. Además, solicitamos cama matrimonial en planta alta y nos lo concedieron, por lo que estamos muy satisfechos con éste establecimiento.

Cons:

Grifería algo desgastada (desagües enrobinados). En el caso de nuestra habitación se escuchaba la ducha del vecino como si estuviera dentro.

Wir haben zum wiederholten Mal eine Übernachtung im ROYAL PLAZA gebucht:
Der Service & das Personal sind - wie wir 😄 alle - unterschiedlich, aber zu 80% zuvorkommend! Wir schätzen besonders die Lage & relative Ruhe mitten in der Stadt! Auch das private Rooftop mit Spa & Restaurant sind ein tolles Extra! Es gibt modernere & klassische Zimmer - mit Top Ausstattung! Wir kommen immer gerne wieder!
Das Frühstück können wir leider nicht bewerten, da wir zumeist eher spät-stücken! Besonderer Tip: Standplatz in hauseigener kleiner Tiefgarage mit begrenzter Kapazität auf Anfrage bei Verfügbarkeit buchbar!
Wir empfehlen das Royal Plaza gerne !!!

Great location, friendly staff. Free car park, which is a luxury so central.

Cons:

A slightly older hotel, possibly due due some refurbishment. The carpets in the hallways could have done with a good cleaning (a bit of a smell, but the rooms were fine). One night we returned to the hotel with a big lock on the door and had to wait for the night staff to let us in. The car park, though free, is small and very tight and fills quickly - free parking isn't too far and the staff were helpful in locating this.

Goede bedden, mooie ruime kamer, de lokatie, roof terrace. De barmannen in het café bij de pool zijn top. Geweldig uitzicht vanaf roof terrace over de stad.

Cons:

Ontbijt beetje0 duur voor wat je krijgt. Douche boven badkuip is niet ideaal

Hotel avec du potentiel, peut mieux faire.
Pros:

L'emplacement était très bien, la piscine agréable, mettre les matelas sur les transats ne serait pas un luxe. la salle du petit déjeuner est agréable, le buffet bien garni.

Cons:

A mon arrivée, j'ai été reçu par un réceptionniste qui ne savait pas sourire et sans me souhaiter la bienvenue. Au petit déjeuner les oeufs ne sont pas présentés, c'est seulement le deuxième jour que j'ai compris qu'il fallait demandé au serveur. Ce dernier proposait des boissons chaudes à des clients lorsque je n'ai pas eu ce privilège. Je me suis vraiment demandé si j'étais invisible.

Decent hotel with a few things that could be improved
Pros:

We had a lovely stay overall. The staff were really friendly and welcoming, and our room was ok.

We arrived around 8am, so understandably couldn’t check in until 3pm. We also couldn’t use the rooftop pool until 10am, so we went for breakfast and came back at 10am to spend the day relaxing by the rooftop pool — which was definitely worth the wait!

One huge recommendation though — there’s an amazing little Spanish restaurant right on the corner next to the hotel. Absolutely delicious and definitely a must-visit

Cons:

The only real disappointment was the balcony. It could have been cleaned much better, with a large puddle of water and a black stain. There hadn’t been any rain that day, so it looked like the water had been sitting there for a while.

Also, when we asked to borrow an iron, we were told the hotel didn’t have any irons to lend out. For a four-star hotel, I was genuinely surprised — who doesn’t have an iron?! 😂 An ironing service is one thing, but not having an iron available at all seemed very odd.

Localización muy céntrica, suit amplia y cómoda.

Cons:

Mobiliaria arcaico, habitaciones amuebladas con muebles de los años 90. Estaría bueno una actualización dándole un toque más moderno y actual. Parecía entrar en casa de una persona mayor.
