Emilia and the staff were ABSOLUTELY wonderful. From making sure the rooms were ready, to accommodating us when needed, we couldn’t ask for a better experience. 100% recommend to anyone looking for a wonderful experience. Will be going back each time we visit!
A great local hotel in walking distance to Wrigley, restaurants and the red line to downtown. Very friendly and clean. In a safe neighborhood and also close to the lake.
Great location, providing a quiet and calm atmosphere to either conduct business or enjoy the city. Walking distance to many restaurants, the water front, or Wrigley.
My wife and I stayed here for 5 nights to go sightseeing and to catch a Cubs game.
The location is great, within a quieter neighborhood but also easily walkable to Wrigley and the rest of Lakeview. There’s also a great bus connection to downtown right down the street, making it easy to not have a car.
While the building itself is older, it’s maintained very well and was kept really clean. This definitely has a unique feel and was a fun place to stay. For another trip, I’d probably get this slightly bigger rooms, as it can get a little cramped in the base size for two people, but it wasn’t a big issue at any point.
It’s the worst place ever. The website said that they had a spa room or something like that, welll they don’t have anything like that. My room was right next to the front desk, sooo weird, didn’t like that, everytime I would walk out of my room, there’s someone there and I heard allll the conversations they had at front desk. Couldn’t sleep the phone is always ringing and someone above me is yelling and running and jumping at all hours of the night. And there’s something outside my window banging around outside my bedroom and staff was kinda rude and I will not be going back
The Majestic Hotel has a boutique vibe, is clean & comfortable and located an easy walkable distance to restaurants, shopping and Lake Shore Park. Wrigley Field is .6 mi away, a 14 minute walk. Take the tour! The generous common space is welcoming & moody & a good gathering place. Our king-sized room was large and beds & linens were very comfortable. Above all, the staff is friendly and helpful! We will definitely return to the Majestic Hotel.
The hotel's baseball motif is kind of cute. The staff was courteous and the rooms were fine. The bed was very comfortable. There was nothing to eat in the morning with a rather disappointing cup of lukewarm coffee in a thermos. I was very disappointed that my room was not made up after the first night. Guests are expected to "request" housekeeping. Uh, never had to request it before, in any hotel anywhere so...
This is an excellent boutique hotel. Yet to be corrupted by the large hotel chains. As a routine business traveler this was a breath of fresh air. great location, and, this time of year, the price very reasonable, although like most of Chicago in the summer it goes up substantially. Great location for cubs games.
This has become our favorite hotel to stay at every time we are in Chicago. It's in such a great location - quiet, 5-10 minute walk to the "L" and plenty of great spots within walking distance. All of the staff, employees are so friendly and helpful - probably the best experience we've ever had staying somewhere. Discount on parking is great as well, as the garage is just across the street in a very secure location.
Highly recommend checking this place out!
Adorable room! Fantastic service! Only one suggestion- water pressure and temperature could have been a bit better.
This hotel is amazing. Clean, clean, clean. The beds are so comfortable and the staff are friendly and helpful. They have popcorn every night!!!!
Charming boutique hotel with a great location. The room was spacious and had everything I needed. Bathroom was not updated but it was fine other than the vent fan was loud. Complimentary morning coffee in the sitting area and parking included were both very much appreciated. Would stay there again.
This is a Cub lovers hotel! Close to the ballpark, but on a nice quiet, residential street. One block in either direction to public transportation, grocery store, restaurants, etc.
My wife and I stayed here for a nearby New Year's Eve 2025>2026 Chicago event. So much to love about this hotel: Lovely Wrigleyville residential neighborhood location; historic building charm with countless modern upgrades; spacious, well-appointed guest room; cozy lobby fireplace lounge with stocked self-serve coffee bar; short walks to neighborhood taverns; and more. (FYI no onsite bar or restaurant, but well-stocked old-school in-room "Honor Bar" fridge and snacks.). ...The one note to management/ownership: We did not experience the warm/friendly staff mentioned in other reviews here; in contrast, I felt that the young men (3 or 4 at different times) staffing the front desk were oddly cold and stiffly transactional only. While unassailably efficient, your staff never gave us the sense of people trained in Hospitality/Guest Services to provide a warm relationship built upon crafting/supporting a "guest experience." Not a dealbreaker, but notably odd.
Boutique hotel with great decor (Go Cubs) and amazing staff.
Minutes from the lake and community coffee, popcorn, and a fireplace.
The first place - since June - that I can actually breathe in - updated appliances, clean, and kind. But, so much more than that, too!
This is a hotel you can get what is advertised - and then some.
Thanks guys 🌻
The location is very perfect. It is a gorgeous hotel, A bit older, which I liked the characteristics of the hotel the rooms were large. I got the large larger room that I had two badges in it and then pull up sofa.
Plenty of room no coffee maker inside of the room, but it was not a very big deal because there was actually a very beautiful lounge area downstairs where they have coffee 24/7
If you’re diabetic or lactose intolerant, you probably need to bring your own creamer
I really enjoyed my stay at the Majestic Hotel in Chicago. The location was surprisingly cozy and residential for how large the city itself is, and the atmosphere was very cozy, especially with the snow that fell the night of my stay. The room was very clean and organized upon my arrival and the stay was satisfying and relaxing. Thank you!
Such a clean, cute hotel just a stones throw away from the action of Wrigleyville. It's an old building, so it has a lot of character. The facility is maintained very well, and the staff is friendly.
Parking is the only strange issue with this place. When you arrive, there is a spot in front of the hotel you can park while you check in. Then your vehicle must be moved to the parking garage, located behind the hotel. (They are very nice)
There is no direct access between the two, so it's about a 4 minute walk to retrieve your car. Cost is a discounted $25/night. In and out privledge is granted, however I dont know the etiquette for tiping every time you take your car out. I gave the mandatory valet $5 everytime he brought my car. Some people did not.
You dont really need a car while staying here, there is a bus that runs up Addison every 15 minutes, one that runs Lake Shore Dr, and there are Lime scooters everywhere. The red train line stops on Addison. Uber was only $5 plus tip getting a ride from Wrigley, but we did that because it's December. If it's nice outside, it's only 1/2 mile walk to the train and stadium.
Overall a very nice and clean hotel. Other hotels are much more expensive in this area, for us it was worth the little extra transportation work we put in to save considerably.
The Majestic is a unique little place near Wrigley Field where we visited the Christmas Market. The room was comfortable and convenient to walk to the field. The surrounding area had a good vibe and felt safe walking around at night. Would recommend!
This is a gem in a very well influence neighborhood. It has Ample restaurants to walk to and is only about 5 blocks from Wrigley Field.
