Reception staff kindly changed room because original had no curtains
Breakfast could have been included
The location was excellent - Ballyvaughan is a beautiful area.
The hotel room we were allocated was in dire need of an upgrade. There were numerous stains on the carpet. The timber panelling in the bathroom had evidence of timber rot and the vanity unit was very badly repaired. The biggest issue was the shower temperature could not be regulated and was extremely hot to the point it was dangerous. When checking out we brought it to the attention of the receptionist but got absolutely no satisfaction. In our opinion this hotel was extremely over priced charging €185 per night not including breakfast.
We loved everything, especially the music in the bar. It was so relaxing and homely especially the views of the Burren. I would highly recommend this hotel if you want peace and quiet . So relaxing 😌
Nothing.we hope to come back again soon

Checking out
Hotel was shoddy-on making our way to our room, there was a door which was warped or damaged and could not fully close-this is an external door, meaning anything or anyone could access the hotel.
The bedroom’s window is in need of replacement, flaking and broken in parts. Inadequate lighting in the bedroom which was cramped. There is no indication that there is no elevator in this property yet there are rooms on the third floor which required a significant walk and climb of 6 sets of stairs. We are a couple in our senior years and were significantly discommoded by this.
The staff were impersonal. There was no sense of welcome or assistance.
Great location. Lovely staff. Bed and bathroom very clean and comfy. We’d stay again.
Bad carpet stains in our room and needs an update on the stairs.
Great staff, great food and great entertainment the night we stayed!
It’s not overly modernised in regard to bedrooms, although it’s exactly what to expect from images etc when booking. No real faults with anything.
Clean lovely staff music in the front bar and right in town
Great hotel, great village... Will definitely be back
Perfect hotel in the perfect location
Het is een vriendelijk hotel met alles aanwezig. Personeel is ook zeer vriendelijk, niets was ze teveel.

Good breakfast, good staff and dinner
Our room was very noisy from the pub next door.
Location is great and staff were very helpful
The furnishings are dated, a little shabby, stairs carpet worn and held together with tape.
Bed was comfortable.
This hotel is very run down and is trading on its reputation -it was once a nice hotel
