Very helpful and friendly staff, excellent breakfast and bar food
Het personeel.
Prachtige ligging, uitstekende uitvalbasis om de Burren te bezoeken. Ruime kamer
Hotel heeft opknapbeurt nodig. Met name tapijt op trap was volledig versleten en vormt een veiligheidsrisico.
Bon accueil, bonne cuisine et à l ecoute
Rien
All of the staff at the front desk, restaurant, and pub were welcoming, pleasant, and answered all of our questions (We had a fun conversation with Allen in the pub!).
The room and beds were comfortable and clean.
The breakfast fare provided had a nice selection to choose from and the quality was very good; very good coffee too.
The location of the hotel was great for exploring the Burren.
Some areas of carpeting in public areas (main stairway across from front desk) are severely worn and could cause an accident. Other areas on second floor are water stained.
The on/off switch for the T.V. remote in our room did not work and the only way to turn the T.V. on/off was to plug and unplug it.
Both excellent
Nothing
I really lovely quaint hotel. Super staff, a big bright room, great powerful shower. Breakfast the next day was great, fresh fruit, lovely cooked food, and nice fresh pastries. I really enjoyed my stay.
Nothing
Great location and extremely friendly staff. Very comfortable beds and very clean.
Alot of noise in the morning from water pipes but it is an old building so to be expected really.
Ideal for our group stay
Comfortable rooms
Friendly and helpful staff
Some of the finish in the bathroom was a little tired and needs redoing
Central
Really old, not great for the price
The room itself has been recently updated. Location was great and they did have good parking.
The upstairs of the hotel was hot and humid. Luckily there was a fan in the closet, it was so hot in my room even with the balcony door open. The hotel definitely needs some TLC due to age. The shower was less than desirable.
Hotel has lovely feel to it . Nice staff and great location . Dinner was delicious .
We skipped breakfast as 15€ a head on top of room was pricey .
Hylands hotel had wonderful music nights and the guinness and food was great. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Ballyvaughan itself has many food options , Soda parlour , The Tea rooms and Monks restaurant to mention a few .
If you want an education on whiskey go to o'loclainns pub have a chat have a beer , if your feeling frisky go for the whiskey .
