Goed verblijf op prachtige lokatie
Pros:

Prachtige ligging, uitstekende uitvalbasis om de Burren te bezoeken. Ruime kamer

Cons:

Hotel heeft opknapbeurt nodig. Met name tapijt op trap was volledig versleten en vormt een veiligheidsrisico.

We enjoyed our stay at the Hylands Burren Hotel and listening to great local music in the pub.
Pros:

All of the staff at the front desk, restaurant, and pub were welcoming, pleasant, and answered all of our questions (We had a fun conversation with Allen in the pub!).
The room and beds were comfortable and clean.
The breakfast fare provided had a nice selection to choose from and the quality was very good; very good coffee too.
The location of the hotel was great for exploring the Burren.

Cons:

Some areas of carpeting in public areas (main stairway across from front desk) are severely worn and could cause an accident. Other areas on second floor are water stained.
The on/off switch for the T.V. remote in our room did not work and the only way to turn the T.V. on/off was to plug and unplug it.

Needs TLC but cute old hotel
Pros:

The room itself has been recently updated. Location was great and they did have good parking.

Cons:

The upstairs of the hotel was hot and humid. Luckily there was a fan in the closet, it was so hot in my room even with the balcony door open. The hotel definitely needs some TLC due to age. The shower was less than desirable.
