Excellent Stay
Pros:

The Maryborough is a beautiful hotel. The service was excellent. Food was delicious. The spa was excellent and we also really enjoyed the leisure centre. We had a brilliant stay.

Schöne Zimmer, komfortable grosse Betten.

Cons:

Das Frühstück hat leider deutlich enttäuscht. Die Qualität war mangelhaft, Teller und Gläser waren schmutzig und nass, und das Buffet war in praller Sonne aufgebaut. Der Orangensaft war ungenießbar. Für ein ansonsten schönes Hotel war diese Frühstückserfahrung in keiner Weise angemessen und hat den positiven Gesamteindruck des Aufenthalts erheblich beeinträchtigt.

Relaxing treatment 110 mins
Pros:

Fabulous treatment for Back Massage, Facial and Scalp Massage with Olena. Olena was very friendly and professional, asked questions before the treatment to understand my likes and needs and fully delivered. Was a very relaxing 110 minutes. I'd highly recommend.

Pros:

We attended our son's wedding on July 10th. Everything about this hotel was exceptional, attention to detail, amazing food, garden was just beautiful for drinks reception, every aspect of the wedding reception was managed so incredibly well. Staff so attentive, Claire and John ye go above and beyond thank you both so much. Staff in breakfast room, Gabrielle, Emma and Peter to name a few, so kind and efficient. Excellent breakfast and no hurry with tables. We loved our stay so much. Thank you all.

Great location and spa
Pros:

Great location- feels quiet and peaceful like being in the countryside but it’s actually really easy to get into Cork City and is close to the airport. There is a bus into Cork that stops right outside the hotel entrance. Douglas is in walking distance and also has lots of shops and restaurants (the hill is pretty steep so you need to reasonably fit/mobile to walk about the area).
The spa was an added bonus and a great way to relax after a busy day walking around tourist attractions.

Cons:

Room cleaning was a bit inconsistent. They were very polite and friendly but items weren’t replaced when they needed to be and room wasn’t cleaned particularly well.

Rejuvenating
Pros:

A lovely experience from the start. The staff in all areas were friendly and experienced and could not have done enough for us. Our room was spotless and up to date and the Spa was very relaxing. The sun shone and we spent a lot of time in the garden which was beautiful.

Two incredibly relaxing days
Pros:

This hotel and spa is world class! The grounds are beautiful. The service throughout is impeccable. The spa was so relaxing. The good and drinks were a bit high but reasonable for the type of resort this is. That said, the food and drinks were excellent.

We would go out of our way to stay here again.

First impression and staff lovely. Bedroom great just a little tired. Food nice and breakfast exceptional
Pros:

Lovely friendly staff, very lovely gardens and first impression. Nice that main breakfast was served to you, just that extra bit made a lot of difference

Cons:

Swimming a bit cold. Bar area was a little tired and black shiny tables were very dirty and covered in fingerprints.
