The ceiling is low! The room and facilities are super old! Everything is dirty! The lights are too dim, making the room look creepy and oddly unsettling! This hotel does not qualify as a 5-star hotel!

L'hôtel du plus mauvais rapport qualité/prix que nous avons eu, juste bon pour du tourisme de masse.
Pros:

Pas grand chose.
Emplacement: central pour les restos, mais trop de choses pour touristes: spa, massages, nail tous les 10 m, trop de monde.

Cons:

Trop de monde, 28 étages, 800 personnes! Embouteillage aux heures de pointe, dans les ascenseurs, au petit déjeuner (de qualité très moyenne).
Equipement de la chambre insuffisant: aucun tiroir dans les meubles, manque de cintres, interrupteur de lumière de chevet du mauvais côté, mauvaise insonorisation (bruits de klaxon la nuit au 25è étage!), vue "sur l'océan" barrée par de grands immeubles...

Good value for money and good location.
Pros:

Everything was good. The location is superb, you are in the heart of the city here and have a straight 500m walk to the beach. Staff are helpful and while the gym was very small, I still could get a decent workout in (dumbells only go to 20kg but you make it work).
The pool, laundry service, breakfast buffée, Spa (you pay before they massage you there, so keep that in mind and bring cash) and the general amenities were good.
Very good value for the money, and if you go up to the 28th floor you get an amazing view.

There was only one complaint I had and I will cover that below, but don't let that discourage you from booking Virgo. It's more in the hopes of the Hotel fixing it.

Cons:

My only complaint is that when the cleaners make your bed, swap towels etc in the morning, you don't know when they arrive and they don't take your dishes. I had used dishes in my room for all of my last 3 days and /twice/ they even just put them back to look clean. But they were not. I got a little stomach sick only once during my entire Vietnam trip and that was when I used the water boiler on the counter for coffee. So just don't use the cups and glasses is my tip. Things were super tidy and clean in the restaurant at breakfast though, so I think it's just a matter of them not handling dishes during the morning routine properly.
