Categories

Cleanliness
8.2
Generally reported as clean with daily housekeeping, but several guests noted problems: lingering cigarette smell in a 'non-smoking' room, a dirty shower curtain, and occasional bathroom ventilation odors.
Service
9
Multiple mentions of helpful staff (early check-in, clear directions, Chinese-speaking staff available); some guests found staff functional but not especially warm.
Location
9.5
Strong positive consensus: close to Namba/Dotonbori, walkable to main sights and stations, convenience stores and taxis nearby; a few guests noted it still requires a fair walk from the station.
Room Quality
8.8
Rooms frequently described as roomy for Japan and comfortable (good beds), but several comments about small bathrooms and shower issues (lukewarm water, small/old fixtures).
Amenities
9
Noted positives include a coffee machine/drink bar and regular room cleaning; limited on-site services (no consistent in-hotel laundry for some) but nearby laundry available.
Value for Money
9.5
Repeatedly called budget-friendly and good quality for the price; reviewers emphasize strong value given the location and room size.
Food and Beverage
8.8
Limited F&B offerings mentioned — mostly a coffee/drink station; no extensive dining services covered in reviews.
Overall Experience
9.2
Mostly very positive experiences: comfortable stays, family- and solo-traveler friendly, many would stay again or recommend; issues noted (smell, small bathrooms) did not outweigh positives for most guests.
