Pros:

Great facilities especially for families. Pizza restaurant fantastic.

Cons:

A lot of noise heard inside the rooms from outside. For example people walking past, cleaning trolley, luggage.

Good pools, bar facilities and located close to the bus stop into Cairns City. The hotel is located opposite the roller skating arena, which was a hit with the kids.

Cons:

There was a misunderstanding with our booking as we thought we had booked with breakfast included. The staff were rude and less than helpful. They don't offer an discounted rate for breakfast for the whole week for guests and it's slightly over priced for a buffet breakfast at $30 per adult. The restaurant and bar also charged a 10% surcharge on a Sunday. The resort is a bit date outdated and the rooms are noisy as people walk straight past your window.

Good for budget basic but renovations are due.
Pros:

Friendly and easy check in. Surprisingly bigger with lots of things on the resort compared to what is reviewed on the photos.

Cons:

We had an upstairs room which was not fun carting all our bags up the stairs. Would have been nice to have been offered an option especially with how many rooms they have. Limited parking - would benefit to be secured behind resort gates and the resort has lots of disclaimers stating car theft disclaimers. The property is getting very dated. Shower was not great - sprayed water that didn’t wet your body. Would have also been great if the Italian place was open for dinner.

Good stay with a mistake.
Pros:

The resort is very nice. There are 3 pools, rooms are large and well equipped.

Cons:

In the toilet there was no hot water in the basin, moreover in the morning, there was no water at all. Anywhere. The machine for purchasing beer was broken.

Room Issue
Pros:

Love the amblience of this resort. The pools were amazing even though we did not use them. The food at the restaurant was great

Cons:

Our phone in our room did not work which is an OHS issue. We told management but it still was not working when we left.
We had to walk up and let management know about our tv which was fixed but if we had an emergency we would have lost valuable time getting to management instead of just making a phone call

It was family friendly. All in all it was a good experience.

It was value for money

Cons:

Being school holidays the mini golf, pedal cars and the pizza restaurant shouldve been open.
The fact they offer locals a cheaper buffet breakfast than the patrons who are paying to stay doesn't seem very fair. The internet wifi didn't work meaning we couldn't enjoy a family movie on Netflix in the evenings.
