A nice place to stay except no light breakfast available.
Pros:

Have stayed there before, nice room, good shower, comfortable bed.

Cons:

Only one chair in the room for two people. They no longer serve breakfast near the pool, you have to use the buffet breakfast which is expensive and over kill for what most people would want especially if they had children. I only ever want a light breakfast and there is no option for that. The previous option which was served up near the pool was a far better arrangement.

Great place to stay
Pros:

We often stay at the Cairns Colonial Club Resort and its great everytime. The rooms are a good size, the facilities are amazing, heaps of pools for the kids and restaurants are great also.

Cons:

Parking is always tricky.

A great option!
Pros:

Great setup. Different pool options if you like the quiet. Food and drinks very handy.

Cons:

We had limited room facilities. No toaster or microwave. Or utensils on enough to make coffee. Location is great unless you don't have a car.

Fine for a quick overnight just to grab a bed before a flight but I'd never want to stay here longer
Pros:

Slept fine, and the rooms are spacious.

Cons:

Rooms smell like everything does in Cairns: musty mould from water damage. They need to be aerated more. The resort is a maze of wings and rooms, all very disconnected from the pool area which doesn't really feel swimmable. It feels old, dirty, grimy; lots of noisy families. One step up from camping.
