Amazing hotel in an excellent location. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and well maintained. The staff were friendly and helpful throughout our stay. Being close to major attractions, restaurants, and transport links made it very convenient. I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to others.
The hotel’s location was excellent, being very close to Rome’s main attractions, especially the Colosseum, which made sightseeing extremely convenient. The room was spacious, and the housekeeping standards were professional, keeping the room well-organized and comfortable throughout my stay.
The hotel and room furnishings felt somewhat outdated and could benefit from modernization. Additionally, I found the room rate to be slightly overpriced considering the overall facilities and condition of the property.
Everything was perfect at the Grand Hotel Palatino. Always a service with a smile and a warm welcome, the room was very clean and inviting. Location was good, within walking distance to some of the main local attractions.
Great room, very helpful staff

Had a really lovely stay here in April. The room (one of the updated ones) was spacious enough, had a super comfortable king bed, and a modern bathroom with double sinks and separated toilet/bidet area. The water pressure wasn't great, even at 6am, but otherwise no complaints. Functional, comfortable, not too loud even though we overlooked Via Cavour, and maintained a nice temperature even in hot weather.
The staff was really welcoming, and grazie mille to Gianmarco and Roberto, who were wonderful in helping me arrange something special as a room add-on for our anniversary. In the end this was complimentary, which was so sweet of them, and very much appreciated!
The breakfast has plenty of choice, with a great range of savoury, sweet, hot and cold. The cups and glasses at the self-service drink area run out fairly quickly on busy mornings, but everything is nice quality and there's something for everyone.
The bar area is chic and comfortable, with an extensive menu including cocktails (and complimentary nibbles). The prosecco they served was the best I've had! The restaurant was a bit odd, though; we were sat right next to one other couple in an otherwise empty area, which was a bit awkward and overhearing each other's conversation was unavoidable. The pasta dishes we ordered weren't as impressive or flavourful as the ones next door at Benso, but more expensive.
The location, however, is fantastic, only 5 minutes easy walk to the Colosseo and Fori, with plenty of great restaurants, bars, museums and shops in the immediate area. As a base to explore Rome, it was ideal, and we would absolutely stay here again.
Paola is doing a fantastic job with her team. She is so kind, considered, and professional, just like her staff. Beyond the housekeeping, everybody goes out of their was to make the stay exceptional. Thank you!
This was the perfect hotel for my family. We had a deluxe family suite for 5 of us. The rooms are very recently renovated with plenty of storage space. The hotel is very quiet! A bonus for my kids (17 and 18 yrs. old) to have their own beds. Hotel is within walking distance of the Termini station and very close to the Colosseum and Roman Forum. We had no problems getting a taxi to/from our hotel whenever we needed. We felt this was a safe location and there were plenty of restaurant choices very close by. Hotel staff were very helpful with anything we needed. Breakfast in the morning was wonderful. Lots of choices, including mimosas! This is my second time staying at this hotel, and I would not hesitate to stay here again!
