24 hour desk, arrived late and was able to check in online
Asked reception for some hand soap as none available on the bedrooms en suite, he came up and bought me 2 small bars and a beaker of liquid soap.
Room wasn't clean, no hand-wash in the bathroom, TV didn't work, cobwebs and spiders in the room and the bed was uncomfortable.
Black mould around the sink and the furniture had rips in it.
Room had a damp odour
Generally did not feel clean.
Nice rooms, comfy beds staff very helpful nice place and good value for money.
The all you can eat buffet was too expensive for what you got and the food wasn't that nice.
Hotel has been updated internally and looks much better.
Staff very pleasant
Scaffolding surrounding the building and you could hardly see through the windows for dust and dirt. 2 of our six days there was no water 1030 till 230 which was very poor as I was with my elderly mother (96 yrs old) and disabled. Only available toilet was in lounge area so not convenient during this time as she wanted to rest in room and it was very inconvenient to have to leave room and go downstairs to toilet.. Two sets of double doors from our room to lift and our wheelchair would not fit through single door and I couldn't hold both doors open and push wheelchair so mum had to walk with stick from room to lift which was very debilitating for her. Breakfast was ok but very little continental options only cereal and peaches with a bowl of yoghurt. No croissants or other breakfast pastries. No individual yogurts or other fresh fruit. Outside in the smoking area it was littered with cigarette ends all over the floor which were never swept up. The cigarette disposal units were broken and there were no bins in the area . I could not fault the staff but it was not the relaxing stay we were expecting.
Really good hotel didn’t look like much from the outside but inside was great , bath and shower in the room with good size rooms big smart tv , WiFi included which wasn’t bad
Not much really
Hard mattress and pillows ripped to pieces inside very uncomfortable hardly slept. Floorboards very creaky woke up everytime someone moved upstairs
Beds pillows
Plenty of disabled places
Not much choice in a morning, hardly any salad and cake and cream every night for dessert lifts unable to take mobility scooters put on 3rd floor so if there was no lift it would have broken down I wouldn’t have made it down the stairs or up .
Comfortable and secure, friendly helpful staff
Great location
Friendly
Good location but bathroom not clean.
Room size was good and reception staff were friendly and efficient
The room developed a leak on the first night from the shower above - the bathroom window would not shut so the room was filled with sand flies - I asked for fly spray and someone brought one up, did a quick spray and took it away again! They tried to plug the window gap with tape which was ineffective. We spent 2 nights killing the flies , which was not peaceful. The lift is inadequate as there is only one and needed for staff who do the cleaning/ bed changing etc. The car park is too small - we were unable to park there any night , and as my partner is disabled it was very inconvenient to drop him off and then have to find parking on the street ( I’m 73 so not comfortable doing this )
Great location friendly staff lovely clean room very spacious
The room was lovely it was just too far away from the lift but my fault for not saying before hand as I have limited mobility the location is a bit out of way but overall it was a nice stay
Location and location of our room
Great.
No soap in bathroom. No tolet brush. Only i coffee. Noise from trams. Had to park on street.
