The location is excellent for visiting the Art Institute, the Field Museum, and many other Chicago attractions. Our room was sparkling clean, comfortable, and wonderfully quiet, allowing us to relax and enjoy our stay. Although we didn't have a lake view, we could see the Sears Tower rising above the Chicago skyline from our window. Perhaps ours wasn't a room with a lake view, but it certainly wasn't a room without a view.
Our only complaint was about the front desk service. When we checked in, we were not offered the complimentary bottled water. When I asked about breakfast, the staff member simply replied, "We don't have breakfast service," without mentioning the executive lounge or any other dining options.
In addition, the destination charge was never explained to us. We almost missed the $25 daily credit because we didn't realize it was available until we reviewed our receipt and asked about it. Fortunately, our friend knew how the destination charge worked, so we were able to use it for two tickets to the Chicago History Museum and a $12 credit for snacks and drinks at the café.
I loved everything about the stay. The valet guys was great and fast they helped with my bags. Front desk was professional and treated me so well. I will definitely be booking again. Everyone needs a raise.

My mother, sister, niece, and I experienced exceptional service and enjoyed the elegant and creative atmosphere. Shima greeted us at the front desk with warmth and helpful assistance. Everyone we encountered there was just as terrific at hotel is well located and the rooms lovely and comfortable. Highly recommend, and we will be back!
We had our wedding at the Blackstone and truly could not have asked for a better experience. From start to finish, Carly and the entire staff were incredible to work with throughout the whole process. Every detail was handled with professionalism, responsiveness, and genuine care, which made the planning experience so much less stressful.
On the wedding day itself, everything ran seamlessly. The staff went above and beyond to make sure both we and our guests felt taken care of, and the level of service exceeded our expectations. The venue itself is beautiful, elegant, and perfectly suited for a wedding celebration in Chicago.
We love the Blackstone. We usually book further ahead, but this time was last minute. But the staff at reception were very accommodating and found us a room with a view, but away from the loud music of Latin Fest (which we hadn't realized was happening that weekend).
We paid for the Club Level in order to get breakfast but didn't realize it wasn't available on the weekend. No one at reception mentioned that. ("Hey, do you realize that you won't get any of the extras because it's the weekend?"
The Blackstone is a beautiful hotel located in a great place with plenty to do nearby. The staff was very friendly and the facility was amazing. My room was very quiet and luxurious. We took advantage of the restaurant and enjoyed cocktails with customers. I would recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Chicago.

I love the history the hotel makes sure to emphasize and the updated vibe. They include quite a few amenities like a good sized gym, food onsite and are walkable to even more good experiences. I have to say the front of staff handled guests and their unruly children with grace and kindness. And house keeping was top notch where even though I turned down service, they offered assistance multiple times as I was leaving and entering. I would definitely book again.
This was the best hotel experience I've ever had!! Incredible staff, clean and comfortable room, great views. Shoutout to Lucy and Greg for making this stay extra special! I booked this hotel for my husbands birthday, and the team went above and beyond to make sure we had a great experience. Will 10000% be back!!
