Please note that guests are required to show a credit card upon check-in. The details of this card must match the details of the reservation's holder. For advance payment, the credit card used to pay the deposit must be in the name of the guest and be presented upon check in.

For reservations of 6 nights or more, a deposit in the amount of 50% of total stay will be charged by the hotel at time of booking. In case of cancelation, this deposit will be refunded based on the cancelation policy stated in the booking confirmation.

Well-behaved and clean dogs are accepted within the establishment for a supplement of €40 per night and per animal. We inform you that they are not allowed in the spa and around the swimming pool. In the event of damage caused by your pet, the hotel reserves the right to charge €400 for additional cleaning costs and the possibility of shortening your stay.

All rooms are nonsmoking: If we detect the smell of cigarets in the room, an additional charge of 400 euros will be applied.

The hotel reserves the right to pre-authorize your bank card prior to your stay. The pre-authorization will be automatically released at the end of your stay, within 1 to 14 working days, and 30 days maximum depending on your bank's conditions.

The pool and hot tub will be closed for maintenance between 17 November 2025 and 21 November 2025.

Super Lage und tolle Ausstattung, im Verhältnis zu den Luxuspalästen noch zahlbare Preise

Sehr gute Lage mit Top Aussicht (wenn man Meersicht-Zimmer wählt). Das Hotel war nett gestaltet, etwas modern und jugendlich. Tolle Rooftop-Bar, wo man auch Frühstück einnimmt. Personal bei der Begrüssung war sehr nett und einchecken sowie auschecken haben einwandfrei funktioniert, sehr speditiv.

Cons:

Personal beim Frühstück war leider recht unfreundlich, und als uns am zweiten Morgen auch noch gesagt wurde, dass Frühstück nicht inbegriffen sei, obwohl es am Vortag noch inbegriffen war, änderte sich meine Laune. Es kann ja mal ein Fehler passieren auf einer Abstreich-Liste, wie das Hotelpersonal dies dem Gast kommuniziert, macht den Unterschied. Und das war in unserem Fall leider gar nicht Hilton like. Letztlich wurde dann doch festgestellt, dass wir inklusive Frühstück gebucht hatten...
Generell merkt man, dass das Hotel schon etwas in die Jahre gekommen ist und einiges vor allem im Zimmer auf auf dem Flur macht schon einen recht abgenutzten Eindruck. Und weil es halt Cannes ist zur Hochsaison sind die Preise dann doch sehr gesalzen. Und wer mit dem Auto (self-drive) ankommt, kurvt 2-3 Mal herum, weil es kaum Platz für An-/Abreise per Auto hat.

Unfortunately, my stay at Canopy by Hilton Cannes ended with one of the most disappointing hotel experiences I have ever had.

After reporting a wet carpet, I was told that I could change rooms later in the evening because we were already on our way to Monaco. I made it clear that **I would move my belongings myself**.

Instead, while I was away, hotel staff entered my room, packed and moved all of our personal belongings — including my partner's unpacked private items — **without my authorization**.

When we returned, I discovered that **EUR 1,900 in cash was missing**. The money had been complete before we left the room.

What followed was weeks of correspondence filled with changing explanations and contradictions.

Initially, I was told two employees packed the room. Later it became clear that one employee had been alone in the room for a period of time before another staff member joined. At first the hotel claimed my partner had requested the move, which is simply not true. I had already informed reception that I would move everything myself later that day.

The hotel repeatedly emphasized that its own policy is **not to touch guests' belongings** without permission—yet this exact policy was ignored in my case.

Another frustrating aspect was the communication regarding a goodwill solution. In one email, the hotel explicitly referred to **a refund of my stay as a gesture of goodwill**, leading me to believe such a solution was being considered. I accepted that proposal immediately, even though it would not have covered the missing money and I was prepared to bear the remaining loss myself simply to resolve the matter amicably.

Shortly afterwards, however, the hotel reversed its position, stating that **no refund would be offered at all**. This was extremely disappointing and felt highly unprofessional.

Throughout the process I remained polite, cooperative and repeatedly tried to avoid legal escalation.

Perfect Stay in Cannes
Pros:

Loved this location, just far enough away from the hustle and bustle and highly walkable. Cute little beach across the street to cool off in the heat. Also helped that they have a pool. Fabulous room that was both quiet and comfy with an ocean view. Highly recommend.

this hotel has the most ridiculous pool policy- it only allows guests to use the pool for an hour in the morning or an hour in the evening - i wanted to sit by the pool at 11am and i was told it would be a cost of 40 EURO per person as at this time they classify this as a spa - complete and utter rip off. The rest of the stay was ok but this policy is terrible after paying 400Euro a night. I would definitely stay somewhere else next time

Pros:

Great location, overlooking the ‘Vieux Port’ in Cannes. The Rooftop Bar is the best in Cannes, with the most beautiful panoramic views.
Also, having breakfast overlooking the port was idyllic.

Cons:

The reception staff when we checked in were not at all friendly, Sima in particular. Considering we were returning guests, we expected a warmer welcome.
I had asked for a quiet room, but was given a room underneath the kitchens on the 6th floor, so after two nights of very disturbed sleep, both late at night (until 1am) and early in the morning (6am onwards) I asked for my room to be changed. Alice, the front of house manager, was very good, and upgraded my room, to one that was much quieter, on the 4th floor, for my next two nights. My only other complaint would be that on arriving for breakfast at 10.30am, we were told that ‘Breakfast will be closing in half an hour’! And then we heard the staff saying ‘closing’ quite a few times..they even turned a couple away at 11am..! It gave us the feeling that they didn’t like us turning up towards the later morning got breakfast!
