Location right in middle of city.
Small room (double).
Expensive (London prices). But there was a big festival on, so guess everywhere had bumped up their prices.
Due to the festival, the city was absolutely packed solid. After a few days in gorgeous ireland countryside, it was just too much for me (not the hotel fault of course). Breakfast was ok.
Excellent location at corner of central Eyre Square, convenient to public transport, the bustling 'Latin Quarter' pubs and restaurants, shopping, and university. My room was large, with good shelf space and a window that opened. Nice shower -- powerful but uncomplicated! And I always like having a safe in the room.
I appreciate that Ireland has a short tourist season and the hospitality industry has to make the most of it, but even so, I thought the price was a bit high for a basic room in an older hotel. The window was oddly placed in a far corner of the room so there was little natural light; the toilet also was awkwardly situated behind the door in a very small and narrow bathroom. I would recommend asking to see your room before accepting it, too; the first one they gave me overlooked an alley and lots of rubbish bins.
Friendly staff and great location.
Excellent location and very friendly staff
Great central location ,lovely big room, very good breakfast and all staff very helpful and friendly.
Nothing I didn’t like about the hotel.
Great location and fantastic staff
Hotel v centru blizu železniške in avtobusne postaje.
Fantastic location, perfectly placed for exploring the city. I didn't drive so not sure about parking but perfect if you arrive by bus or train as it's just a short walk across Eyre Square. Staff are lovely and the hotel is clean. Also it's very good value.
Only negative was that the sound seemed to travel from upstairs when we were there and it sounded like a demolition derby was going on one of the nights.
Lage
Didnt do breckfast
