Hotel très confortable, proche des quartiers touristiques et pourtant très calme.
Pros:

Hotel proche du quartier touristique et pourtant très calme. Calme à l'intérieur également, on n'entend rien des autres chambres.
Très bon buffet de petit déjeuner.

Cons:

La salle de petit déjeuner peut être un peu bruyante quand il y a du monde. Mais il y a quand même toujours de la place et le buffet reste toujours achalandé.

Pros:

wir sind mit der Bahn angereist und hatten Karten für das Ludwig-Museum. Das Hotel hatte für unsere Pläne die absolut idealste Lage, das war schon mal großartig. Zudem sehr zuvorkommende freundliche Mitarbeiter, sehr schönes Zimmer, ruhig, komfortables Badezimmer, bequeme Betten und ein üppiges Frühstücksbüffet.
Wir waren rundum zufrieden, vielen Dank!

Gutes Stadthotel mit einwandfreier Leistung an hervorragender Lage
Pros:

Hervorragende Lage, sehr freundliche Mitarbeiter/innen, feines und reichhaltiges Frühstück

Harte Matratze, aber trotzdem gut geschlafen und ohne Rückenweh aufgewacht

Die Lage ist optimal. Das Personal an der Rezeption sehr freundlich. Ebenfalls gefällt mir, dass man festlegen kann, ob das Zimmer gereinigt werden muss oder nicht.

Cons:

Das Restaurant Mondial1516 ist eine Zumutung. Unfreundliches Personal, schlechte Auswahl und das Essen ist mittelmässig

Cons:

Zu hoher Frühstückspreis von 25€ pro Person. Preis/ Leistungsverhältnis stimmte nicht. Das Frühstück bekomme ich auf diesem Niveau in anderen Hotels 10€ billiger. Keine Snacks und Getränke im Zimmer. Laden für Snacks nicht besetzt. Keine Möglichkeit einzukaufen. War früher in Jugenherbergen möglich, da hat das Zimmer ein Taschengeld gekostet.

Очень удобное расположение - рядом с Кельнским собором, основными достопримечательностями, набережной и вокзалом. Окна номера выходили во двор - было тихо и спокойно. Чайник сразу дали после просьбы.

Cons:

Не понравилось, что в субботу в 10 утра открылась дверь и пришла уборка. Также не понравилось, что мою собственную пустую бутылку, стоящую на столе, взяли и выбросили.

Birthday trip
Pros:

My daughter and I have just returned from a short break here (26th-27th May) and we had such an amazing time.
Firstly, the staff were so friendly and accommodating and a real credit to the hotel. I contacted the hotel before our stay to enquire about late check out and also mentioned it was a trip for my daughter’s birthday. Late check out was arranged alongside a suggestion of a birthday treat.

When we arrived the staff were incredibly welcoming and also noted it was my daughter’s birthday and personally said happy birthday to her. I unfortunately did not get the names of the two staff members, one male and one female who we saw when we arrived, but a huge thank you to you both for making my daughter’s day. Check in wasn’t until 3pm, however our room was ready at 1pm.

Not long after settling into our room, staff delivered a birthday cake and a bottle of sparkling wine on ice. My daughter loved her cake and the bottle of fizz was definitely a welcomed treat! The staff who delivered these, again, were incredibly friendly and welcoming.

We stayed in room 269 and the view was unbelievable. A perfect view of the cathedral. The bed was very comfy and we slept well. There was some noise on an evening but that is to be expected in the location we were in.

The location of the hotel is perfect, it is a couple minutes walk to the cathedral (which I highly recommend visiting on an evening to see its full beauty in the night sky), and a couple minutes walk from the river Rhine, the restaurants, the Hohenzollern bridge, museum ludwig etc. It’s roughly a 15 minute walk from the NS Documentation Centre however we got a taxi there as it was so warm walking, which was roughly 13 euros.

I would highly recommend this hotel and thank you so much for making our short break everything we could have asked for.

Stylish Comfort Made Perfect by the Staff
Pros:

We recently spent some time at the Hotel Mondial Am Dom Cologne and had an amazing experience. The location is unbeatable, offering stunning views and making it incredibly easy to get around. The rooms are brilliantly designed, spacious, and full of thoughtful little touches that made our stay feel extra special. The beds were incredibly comfortable, and the soundproofing was excellent, making it easy to relax and get a great night’s sleep.

Loved the huge breakfast selection! Every staff member we ran into was so friendly, but the reception team really stood out for being genuinely helpful and welcoming.

The only small downside for us was the unusual bathroom layout, but it certainly didn’t take away from an otherwise wonderful experience. We had a wonderful experience and would absolutely stay here again.

Sehr nettes Personal. Modern eingerichtetes geräumiges Zimmer. Lage direkt am Dom. Ruhig.

Cons:

Das "Peep-Show-Badezimmer". Dieser neue Trend ist Geschmacksache - wer es mag vom Bett aus beim Duschen betrachtet zu werden, ist hier allerdings richtig.


Das Frühstück im Wert v. 30 Eur / Person entspricht nicht meiner Erwartung an ein 4-Sterne-Hotel (Rührei aus dem Tetra-Pack, Käse- und Wurst-Auswahl haut nicht wirklich um).

Wir würden immer wieder dieses Hotel buchen.
Pros:

Ich sage nur Lage, Lage, Lage! Hotel direkt mit Blick zum Dom, zu allen Attraktivitäten,der Rhein,gute Restaurants und Shopping, alles vor der Tür. Einfach Klasse für ein Kurztrip. Das Personal war auch sehr nett und hilfsbereit.

Cons:

Leider war schon am frühen Morgen auf den Straßen ziemlich viel Lärm und wir waren sehr früh wach.

Schönes Hotel in hervorragender Lage
Pros:

Das Hotel liegt hervorragend. Das Personal ist freundlich. Die Ausstattung war gut und zweckmäßig. Wir waren bereits zum fünften Mal dort und schätzen ein gutes Hotel in perfekter Lage zwischen Dom und Rhein.

Cons:

Nichts zu meckern.
