Pros:

A comfortable and relaxing place to stay. The rooms are huge (over 90 square meters), super clean, and feature an excellent ocean view. Friendly staff and an unbeatable location!

With only 3 units in the hotel, it feels more like an Airbnb but with luxury hotel standards. The unit sizes are massive. Richard is incredibly helpful. He picked us up from Atami Station right when we requested, even though we had to change the time multiple times. He even offered to drive us to restaurants in town when we hadn't prepared enough food for dinner.

BBQ equipment is available to rent for ¥2,000 per person per use. The hotel is located just across from Atami Castle, which is a stop on the local sightseeing bus. I suggest dropping off your luggage when you arrive, then starting your city tour from the castle. Once you are done, just hop back on the bus to your next destination. You can easily use this same bus to get back to the hotel at the end of the day. The bus fare is ¥800 per person.

Cons:

I think the rental fee for the BBQ equipment is a bit high. Also, I couldn't find a closet or clothes hangers in the room (though that might be my fault). Since the room is huge and I only stayed for one night, it didn't really bother me.

Loved our stay at hotel Mujuan!
Pros:

The view from our room and breakfast area was absolutely stunning. You get a great view of the castle and the sea. The room was big, clean and had everything we needed and more. The staff were super friendly and helpful. Richard spoke perfect English, so we were able to communicate easily and made our stay comfortable. He helped us get from and to the station and gave us some great recommendations. We really enjoyed our stay at hotel Mujuan.

部屋から熱海城や相模湾を見下ろす景観である。
部屋が広く、大人3人でもゆったりと過ごせる。
部屋の中ではWi-Fiが使用できるほか、たくさんの充電機器が用意されている。

Cons:

ホテルではなかったため、スタッフのサービスは行き届いいていなかった。
他施設と比べ、朝食時間が9:00以降と遅い上、質素で連日同じメニューであった。
朝食が遅いのにチェックアウト時間は他施設同様10:00であるため、やや慌しかった。
施設自体が古めかしく、常設の間仕切りやシャワールームが使えなかった。
同様に、売りのはずのバスも経年劣化から傷みや汚れが目についた。
エントランスへのアプローチから部屋への移動は階段ばかりで、足の悪い家族には酷だった。
使いやすいように充電機器を配置したが、ルーム清掃時に片付けられてしまった。
ルーム清掃後にバスマットが無くなっていたが、18:00以降は誰もいないため、補充のお願いができなかった。

Exceptional room and service
Pros:

Extremely big and comfortable room. With full amenities and more (massage chair included). Service was excellent. Even though breakfast wasn’t the usual hotel buffet style, it was prepared with care and was sufficient. View was superb too since hotel is elevated.
