Good location
Unusable WiFi. Room was dingy and looked out on a wall. Was moved to a better room when I objected.
Nothing
Building work going on near our room
Breakfast on the booking form 12.50 Hotel charged 14.95 .Poor quality food Breakfast
Breakfast could have been better quality nothing hardly left at 9.15 am would not stay there again
Lovely large room with everything you need plus more. Good quality furniture and well stocked beverage tray with a good choice of tea and coffee. Decent biscuits! Room was spacious and spotless with a comfortable large bed. Excellent choice at buffet breakfast with quality yoghurt, fruit, croissants and hot food. Very pleasant staff. Easy parking. Great location only mins from Harrogate centre.
Everything fine.
No fuss change of room when the one I was allocated smelt of drains
Being offered a smelly room
Interesting and very comfortable.
No problems
Great location for visit to Harrogate. Traditional hotel atmosphere, the rooms are not super modern but clean and still comfortable and the location is just great: town centre and impressive Valley Gardens just around the corner.
You can barely open the windows
Excellent hotel for exploring Harrogate. Friendly staff, especially when we had an issue with our room and were upgraded.
All good
The location is the loveliest setting away from the busy roads but small walk to town. The breakfast was great as always with lots of choice. Perhaps maybe a better choice of teas as you only had English Breakfast when we stayed. Lovely atmosphere and staff all very attentive and friendly. We came during a busy period with lots of coach tours but we still found it to be a nice quiet hotel. Love that’s it’s steeped in history! Love the Agatha story. We have stayed twice now and come to Harrogate every August and will definitely book again! We love the facade of the hotel and the gardens are well kept. Evening drinks were nice and we enjoyed the blue library room. I think the hotel as a lovely feel with lots to offer. We really enjoyed our stay!
Thank you
We really liked everything! We will perhaps book to enjoy afternoon tea next time or evening meal!
The bed was a little soft but otherwise clean and linens good!
Ample parking, spacious grounds and common areas, great location
rooms tired and dated
The room was clean and comfortable, the staff were polite and friendly, and the food was good.
My room was a bit noisy, and the WiFi was a bit slow
