Fabulous few days in an interesting hotel
Pros:

Location
Connection to Agatha Christie
Gardens
Good car parking
Full lenght mirror and number of hangers
Large bath and good shower
Water in reception

Cons:

Position of TV on cabinet in relation to bed/chair
I would have preferred a window in the room that opened wider to allow more airflow

Die Lage des Hotels und das zuvorkommende Personal.

Cons:

Zimmer: Fenster konnten zum Lüften nur zu einem Spalt geöffnet werden. Bad: Duschkopf defekt und Duscharmatur von Oma.

Pleased that we were only there one night, would NOT use this hotel again.
Pros:

Location - within easy walking distance of town centre

Cons:

Limited drinks in bar, bar servery very dirty, dinner menu disappointing, breakfast reasonable but nothing special. Staff were willing and helpful but not well trained. The hotel as a whole is tired and neglected, needs investment and better standards all round.

Pleasant stay but I probably wouldn’t stay there again.
Pros:

I liked how beautiful the hotel was from the outside and its garden. It was clean.

Cons:

Some staff weren’t very friendly, it was a very hot weekend windows didn’t open very much, no air con. Bar staff were always away from the bar so took a long time to be served.

Good location . Very hot rooms and no aircon .
Pros:

Great location - able to walk to all Harrogate offers. Nice lawn and outside bar/ sitting areas.

Cons:

Rooms dated. No air conditioning in the property at all (rooms and public areas). Windows don’t open much in the bedrooms . Three very sleepless and hot nights. A plastic fan in the bedroom just moves the hot area around.

Breakfast was of mainly cheap products - a bit of a spruce up of the offerings needed .

Good value for money. Ideal location
Pros:

The hotel and grounds were lovely, staff very friendly. Ideal location for town. Bed was very comfortable.

Cons:

We booked a double room, what we got was nothing like the photos, very small with a very small window. The towel rail in the bathroom was constantly hot,no way of turning it off. As we were only stopping ovrrnight, no air con, although there was a small fan in the room. we didn't ask about moving rooms . Mentioned it when checking but receptionist, who was nice, said they were fully booked anyway. . Breakfast had plenty of choice, although lukewarm. The bacon was very hard to cut.
