Central location. Clean simple small room with window opening out onto the Wasserturm.
The hotel enjoys a prime location with convenient transportation and easy access to nearby amenities. Its building is rich in history and architectural character, making it truly distinctive. The rooms are spacious and comfortable, which we really appreciated. Additionally, the hotel offers a large parking area, making it especially convenient for travelers on a self-driving trip.
Terrible place, temps in 90’s during day make the room in the 90’s.
Even though they advertise rooms are “air conditioned” THEY AREN’T!!
Their idea of AC is a fan that barely works.
Place is tired and worn out….DO NOT STAY HERE.
Good location- old rooms
Hot water takes a long time and stains all over the furniture.
It’s in a great location for shopping and eating.
I love the hotel one of the best in Mannheim for location and nostalgia
excellent location, very quiet, friendly staff helpfull
Love the location so much to do around this hotel
Great value for money.
Sehr gutes Frühstück. Freundliches und hilfsbereites Personal.
My stay at Parkhotel was trully exceptional. The room was bery clean and staffs are very helpfull
Great hotel with old wonder charm. Location is fantastic and staff is very helpful
Great location and it was awesome to stay in an older hotel. It needs to be updated but overall I will stay there again
the cleaning is -5 because the lady that clean the room didn't replace towels and shampoo and tissue
The hotel itself was nice, clean and comfortable. They say there’s parking, but aren’t clear about where. I parked (illegally) and ran inside to find out where we could park. There was a line at reception so I asked the guy working at the bar about parking (it wasn’t opened yet). He said questions should go to reception and walked away. It turns out parking is across the street, but be prepared to carry your suitcase up stairs, unless there’s a way to get to the hotel from the garage that they never bothered to tell me.
Pretty hotel. Excellent breakfast buffet.
Wonderful location. Clean room and general areas. Nice bar.
I booked this hotel because it was advertised as having air conditioned rooms. The reality is that, only the reception area and the lifts have got air conditioning. I was unable to sleep for two nights because the temperature in my room was hotter than it was outside. The staff kindly offered two different rooms but they were equally hot if not hotter. Although they refunded me for the unused nights, I felt that it was not fair to charge for nights that I haven’t been able to sleep. One pays for a hotel to ‘sleep’ so if the guest is unable to sleep because the hotel room is unfit for purpose then it is not fair to charge that guest.
The three rooms that I had seen and stayed at were very dated, the beds were small, and the bathrooms did not look fresh. The rooms were also very dusty, the carpets were stained and the kettles were dirty. If there is one positive thing about this hotel, the location is convenient as it is close to the cafes and restaurants. However, Manheim is such a small place that everything is within walking distance anyway.
I had booked in for 2 nights as a solo female guest. When i got there they advised the restaurant and bar were closed and there were plenty places around that i could use. I specifically booked this as there was a restaurant and bar as i was travelling solo and didnt want to be going out alone at night
