I had a nice stay at the Ramada hotel and would like to visit it again for another vacation.
Pros:

The location of the hotel was great since i could easily reach my conference. And, also my bed was really conformable, so I would also recommend the bed to the others.

Cons:

Everything was good, but if there would have been breakfast accessibility, it would have been great too.

Great location for a stay in Auckland
Pros:

The location and cleanliness were great; no problems with the room. The staff were very accommodating.

Cons:

We arrived around 7:00 am, before the registration desk was staffed. Unfortunatley, we never received an email that was supposed to have been sent that gave us access information. So we were very confused, in the dark literally and figuratively (it was winter), and couldn't even enter the lobby after a long-haul flight from the US. Finally, a long-term guest arrived and gave us the number of someone to call, there was a lockbox with our room key, thank goodness. So up-front communication really needed improvement.

Pros:

The location was fabulous for the areas we wanted to visit in Auckland. It is super central but just off the main road enough that you don't hear any noise. I was impressed with the soundproofing in the room and not being able to hear other rooms.

Ramada Victoria is our first choice of places to stay in Auckland.
Pros:

We think this hotel is in the best location because it is so close to town (CBD) and a short walking distance to the Viaduct and Britomart precinct. Yet, it has relatively little traffic or city noise because it is on a quiet part of Victoria Street, with a quiet side street that always has plenty of on-street parking on the weekend.

Cons:

We always seem to end up in a room with a view of NZME's giant 3-storey digital billboard that flashes 24/7! Luckily the rooms have blackout curtains.
