Hotel Des Arts Galata

You can't ask for a much better location close to Galata tower. It backs right onto the famous street.
Excellent location to explore the rest of Beyoglu.
It is family owned hotel and the owner was very polite and helpful. Breakfast is at a restaurant right in front of the tower which was very nice.

Breakfast was served at a restaurant about 100 meters from the hotel. The food was very good and diverse. Guests could choose from an à la carte breakfast menu, and two coffees or teas were included. The service, and location were all excellent. The air conditioning worked very well, and the hotel's location was great, within walking distance (20-30mins) to many popular sightseeing attractions (Grand and Egyptian Bazaar, Taksim Square, The Blue Mosque etc). The staff were excellent: very responsive, approachable, and helpful throughout our stay. Service in the hotel was great, but I would recommend staying in this area in general only if you plan to use your hotel room as a place to sleep and spend very little time in it during the day, as it is constantly very loud and lively.

I’m really happy that i chose this hotel for our stay in Istanbul. Everything was great: very kind and polite staff, hospitality, delicious breakfast, room, perfect location. Central, emplacement parfait

The property was in a GREAT location. Very beautiful cozy room. Kept tidy and the staff were extremely accomodating. They went out of their way to ensure all our needs were met and were very approachable and helpful.
Sefik - hand delivered our breakfast the night before our departure as we couldn’t make the assigned breakfast time. Much appreciated

Amazing staff and such an amazing location with vibrant street life, lovely cafes and beautiful buildings - Galata tower is about 70m walk from the front door - rooms are small but clean , perfect and all you need and excellent value for money - I’d definitely stay there again

Ubicación excelente, a pocos pasos de la Galata Tower. La ubicación permite estar cerca de la calle de compras, de restaurantes, cerca del barrio Korakoy. Buen punto estratégico que te permite estar cerca de todo.
La habitación es tal cual las fotos, prolijo y cómodo.
El desayuno es exquisito, contundente.
Personal excelente, amable, siempre con una sonrisa y dispuesto a ayudar.
Sin dudas si volvieras a Estambul nos volverías a quedar en el Hotel Des Arts.

had an amazing stay at Hotel Des Arts Galata. The location is perfect, the rooms are clean, comfortable, and beautifully maintained. However, the biggest reason my stay was so memorable was Shafik at the reception. From the moment I arrived, he treated me like a valued guest rather than just another customer. He always welcomed me with a smile, helped with every question, gave great recommendations, and made me feel truly special. His kindness, professionalism, and genuine care made my entire stay comfortable and stress-free. Employees like Shafik are a huge asset to this hotel. Because of him, I will happily recommend this hotel to everyone I know, and whenever I return to Istanbul, I will definitely stay here again.

Great location

This hotel is in an excellent location and the staff were wonderful. Everyone was very attentive to our needs and very helpful. This is very central to a busy area with everything you need nearby

We had a wonderful stay at Arts Galata Hotel. The location is unbeatable – right in the heart of all the action, with restaurants, cafés, shops, and the vibrant atmosphere of Galata just outside your door.

The staff were exceptional and went above and beyond throughout our stay. As a lovely surprise, they upgraded us to a larger room, and nothing ever seemed too much trouble for them. Their warmth and helpfulness made us feel genuinely welcome.

One thing to note: because the hotel is in such a lively area, it can be noisy at night, so bring earplugs if you're a light sleeper. For us, though, it was all part of the experience. Staying in the middle of the buzz and energy of Istanbul felt absolutely magical.

A fantastic hotel with outstanding service and an unforgettable location. We would happily stay here again.
