Pros:

Location, staff, close to railway station
Bedroom nice size with windows that open plus upright fan really appreciated. Fridge with 2 bottles of water. TV, kettle, teapot, milk,, tea bags, biscuits.

Cons:

Not as good as last time. Room was listed as boutique type but old and shabby would be a better description. . Bathroom sink no plug but hair visible in drain area. Sink housing unit has split/ chipped edges. Bath/Shower area - sealant grubby. Towel rails covered in dust. Bed fitted base sheet too small for mattress so came loose when moving, really annoying. Dressing table - mirror section removed and edges need more cleaning. The 'matching ' stool was dirty stained and the fringe was dirty, hanging off and unsightly. The chair is of the same set and also stained . The headboard wasn't attached to the bed and quite loosely joined to wall which rattled every time I moved! Also some random piece of metal inside the room near the door ?!

Super friendly staff, nicely decorated, we would come again.
Pros:

Couldn’t fault this hotel - staff were really friendly on our arrival and the room was nicely decorated. However we came on a bank holiday weekend and the noise from outside kept myself and my son up almost all night. The hotel did have extra shutters on the windows but the noise was unbelievable!
Other than that, a great hotel!

Cons:

The noise from outside - bank holiday weekend and it was so loud.

Was a lovely hotel doesn't look much from the outside but when you enter its very nice and welcoming staff are very good

Pros:

Friendly staff, very quiet, great location. Fabulous restaurant (rack of lamb delicious).

Cons:

No soap in the shower and a black out blind would be better if you want a lie in!

We enjoyed our stay thank you.
Pros:

We had a lovely evening meal, 2 course deal that was very reasonably priced.

Cons:

No issue with the hotel itself just the location being near bars with loud music in evenings.

Comfortable and pleasant small hotel
Pros:

Staff were friendly and helpful, bed was comfortable and room was warm and clean with everything needed for an overnight stay. Biscuits too!

Cons:

Hairdryer wasn’t great - otherwise all good.
