The staff were exceptionally helpful and full of personality. They seem very well trained!
Decor a little outdated. 215e for room only was about 40e more than I would like to pay for this standard of hotel
The location is not the best. But the hotel offers all the activities. Breakfast is very tasty, friendly staff in the restaurant.
Nothing
The character, the staff, the atmosphere and rooms were great
The room was a little warm
Nothing in particular
Feel tired and dated. Needs renovation.
Lovely building and lovely location
Coziness and comfort and friendliness of staff
Food was disappointing in the Brasserie - it was just ok
Great staff and good facilities
Some of the room and decor could do with a refresh
The swimming pool and the jacuzzi was really good. The property was very central to Salthill & Galway city. We could walk to both places safely. The music was lovely on the Saturday nite .
The bedrooms were really small. The windows were covered in birds poo and wasn’t cleaned throughout our stay.
Location
The strong smell and the outdated decor
Stayed here before a few years ago, for a wedding. Main areas are nice
Bedrooms looking a bit tired now, could do with an update.
Staff were exceptional, they were friendly, knowledgeable and polite. They couldn't have done more to make the stay enjoyable.
Location was also excellent
There is an anti bird call going from early morning to late at night, this was distressing to say the least, my two children are neurodivergent which alot of distress as they thought it was a bird in pain. It also woke us up quite early as it is very loud. The hotel may need to rethink this and inform guests so guests can make an informed decision as to whether they want to continue their stay or have a choice of rooms away from this incessant distressing noise.
Just on a side, the pool is much smaller than expected and it had lane swimming which doesn't always suit families with children, this also should be communicated upon arrival or beforehand again to make an informed decision.
Le confort de la chambre
Le calme du lieu
Le petit déjeuner
L' accueil froid du réceptionniste
Lovely location just outside Galway & very near the coast. The stay was booked during a 70th birthday celebration, we were amazed to have been given a large comfortable family room with a surprise box of chocolates & a card. Breakfast was included which was a bonus, unfortunately we weren’t able to eat in the restaurant due to a function that night.
Absolutely everything thing, leisure was beautiful & clean, after a long day and stayed open until 10 pm.
