Great building, friendly and efficient staff, very convenient for the station.
Room was small but that was clear from the offset and factored into the price so no complaints.
Returned for our 5th wedding anniversary. Left a note when booking and was left a bottle of Prosecco and a beautiful plate with chocolate writing on it.
Bed was very soft and comfortable.
Staff made us use pc check in desk, then tried to charge us again after it. We were meant to check in at 2pm and the room wasn’t ready until 3:10.
The water pressure was awful so took forever to shower/ run the big bath we paid extra for
Then morning of check out we received 2 texts and an email asking what time we would be checking out.
It removed all personal touch and made us feel like they just wanted guests out.

Location by railway station and walkable to town
Basic double was too basic so we upgraded to a delux when there.
visit for wife's birthday when arrived reception upgraded our room, and as a bouns we got some drinks vouchers, room was large, bed was comfy can't fault the staff, the barmen in the cocktail lounge were fantastic

A beautifully decorated interior. It makes quite an impression.
There is no parking, you have to pay for it. And staff not always helpful.
The lounge and the bar with the dining room were pleasant areas to sit in. There was a big choice for breakfast. The room itself was of a reasonable size. The staff were helpful and friendly.
The menu in the restaurant was more like a pub menu rather than A La Cart. While the room was clean enough the cleaning of the bathroom was not done properly generally. The room was not serviced one day and the following day the door had not been closed properly.
It was too much digital application or some of them was too complicated for so ease topics :)
