Exceptional staff
Pros:

We had been waiting over 4 hours to get checked in the hotel. Not the fault of the hotel but job related. Darnell B. checked in our luggage and told us to go get something to eat. We got back and he helped tending to us while the check in cleark proceeded. He offered water and did whatever was possible to help out. I finally got to my room and the TV did not work. I saw him and he assured me he would take care of it. Yes he did. I found out he had only been on the job for a very short time. I would have never guessed. He was so calm, professional, and willing to help. He's a jewel! Keep him!

The room was clean and the location was great

Cons:

The staff member at check in was not friendly or welcoming.
There was not a closet in the room just a few hangers above the mini frig.
No coffee maker.
There was not an ice bucket in the room.
After the concert I went to the front desk to ask for one. A large man at the desk told me he didn't know if they had one. He later came back with a plastic container. When I asked for a liner, he gave me a grocery bag. The guy next to him kept eating his chips and licking his fingers. Deffinately not a professional experience.

Rocky start but enjoyed stay
Pros:

My experience started off very poorly with the check in experience from Rain at the front desk. His attitude was horrible. First off he never greeted me when I entered and walked up to the desk. He was on his cellphone. He refused to check us in without the $600 incidental fee ($100 per night) although there was a contract that stated otherwise. He stated he wouldn’t check me in and then continued on his phone. It took another person, Omar, before we were properly assisted with kindness and attention. If I hadn’t have been there for a conference o would have left.

Other than that my experience was great. I thoroughly enjoyed Trin at the front desk, Jen at the bar, and Brian at breakfast. They all went above and beyond to make sure we were taken care of. Those 3 deserved praise and acknowledgment for a great experience and excellent service. I would stay again just because of them.
