A charming hotel in the heart of beautiful Clifton.
Pros:

One of the best hotels I've stayed at. Obviously the location is beautiful, inspiring and romantic which helped, but this hotel and their staff don't rest on their laurels. We had a dog with us (our Boston Terrier) and they were super accommodating for him, they even provided a bed, a rubber food mat and some bowls for food and water. During breakfast, we were invited to a separate location away from the restaurant and it was close by and really comfortable. All the staff were lovely and helpful always, especially with our room service requests. Thank you all!

Cons:

I can't really come up with any suggestions or recommendations that may have improved our visit.

Historic hotel in a great location but classic gorge rooms are quite dark.
Pros:

Stunning views of the bridge and gorge.

Cons:

After an early start and busy day, I anticipated being able to relax at the hotel or maybe even have a glass of wine on the terrace. However, the hotel has a pub and the outdoor terrace was rammed on the Saturday afternoon - DJ set was loud which was then replaced by equally loud music. Not the vibe I was expecting.

Great location, well-established hotel and worth the upgrade to get the lower ground floor suite!
Pros:

Excellent location overlooking Clifton Suspension Bridge. The "room" we booked was a large suite with it's own private entrance - and a private garden and balcony area overlooking the Avon Gorge and the Bridge. Excellent

Cons:

The room / suite is located at basement level and the stairs to and from the entrance door would be challenging for some guests especially with luggage. The balcony area hadn't been properly cleaned before our arrival but it was once we brought that to the reception staff's attention. We did not have breakfast at the hotel. There are a lot of great cafes and other places within walking distance in Clifton Village.

An excellent hotel, great breakfast, and wonderful views!
Pros:

An absolutely fabulous hotel, with excellent rooms with a view and fantastic breakfast! We were sad to only be there for one night, but we loved our stay. The rooms even had hot chocolate and biscuits which is great for people who don't like tea or coffee (me!). Would highly recommend this hotel for anyone looking to stay in Bristol!

Cons:

Nothing!

Pros:

The staff and the history of the building. The location was good.

Cons:

The size of the room. The access to the car park is crazy. Having to pay to park the car and then have a long walk.
