Pros:

I liked the whole experience.

Cons:

Nitpicking, the shower door was slightly off balance and maybe clean the shower base foot area with a whitening cleanser. But it was clean though.

Hotel is fine, but breakfast was a disaster
Pros:

We spent one night in Wells on a road trip. The hotel was expensive enough that I did a "points & dollars" with my Hilton membership, so not a budget place. Our room was fine, but in the morning, they were out of eggs, sausage, and oatmeal in the breakfast room at 8:30am. I asked the woman servicing breakfast if they were going to be refilled and she said it was in the oven. Several firefighters were staying in the hotel and they came down while we were there to eat breakfast before they had to leave. They would open containers and show disappointment to find no food, and they could not wait so just left with fruit. About 8:45 sausage came out. By 9am there were still no eggs and no oatmeal, so we left. The person working didn't really seem to care or be in any hurry to keep things filled. Poor management of breakfast service.

The Hampton Inn in Wells is an oasis in the middle of a bustling, desert way station for weary travelers. It is clean, serene and a refreshing stopover. The views from the hotel of the high desert and mountains are lovely.

Cons:

The coffee needs to be checked and refilled regularly.
