Very nice place, nice breakfast, very convenient for trains and ferries.
Regular visitor. We like location.
On this occasion we had just come off ferry from St Malo.
Staff are always very pleasant and breakfast is nice.
We have a van and can usually park but unfortunately on this occasion we couldn’t and spent considerable time trying to find somewhere.
Perfect location.
Dirty dark room.
Had to ask room cleaner to clean outside of shower tray- dirty with hairs. Bed head was dusty.
Small room with one long frosted glass window. Curtain come of one or two hooks.
Opened the window and saw to overlook enclosed area which had air con pipes and trunking.
Room was small and dingy.
Asked if could change room. Was only offered an upgrade for an extra £50 per night which we refused.
Staff pleasant enough but didn’t feel very welcoming.
Do not recommend and will not return.

Air con was great. Good location. Was good to have somewhere to park. The lady on reception on the first day was lovely.
Cleanliness wasn’t good - one of the towels was dirty and we found someone’s used fake eyelashes under the table in the main room. Barely any natural daylight as window faced a brick wall, which was very disappointing. The lady on reception/breakfast room on the second day was slightly abrasive in her manner. There was a notice in the bathroom which asked guests not to throw condoms down the loo. This was completely inappropriate as we were in a family room with our children and added to general feeling that the room wasn’t clean. There was also staining on the wall and damage to the bathroom door.
Breakfast was good. Staff were very pleasant. Hotel was quiet. Location was superb.

Location is perfectly situated in the harbor. Bus and train stations right across the street. Along with historical Harbor
Staff very condescending..except Fiona very nice, Hue was accusing, Fay was arrogant and Matty was ok.. the first thing I asked before checking in was there air conditioning. Fay reassured there was and it was checked the week before. So when I couldn’t turn air conditioner on or wasn’t working I asked for help as the room was 30c. The window opened 1/2 inch with out any breeze and the fan was just circulating hot air.. I again asked Fay for help as nothing seemed to be working maybe I wasn’t doing something correctly? She said give it time. Which I did. When I approached her again after a ling flight than bus ride being tired and time zone difference. She told me I had to wait 30 minutes and that she was nice and comfortable at the desk without air conditioners on 😳. I wish my room was as comfortable. She then stated most places don’t have aircondtioner in Britain.. I found her lacking in customer support and service. I waited for Hue who immediately stated that I booked via bookings.com and they don’t advertise air conditioning. I let him know I asked before I checked in.. after a little back and forth and me willing to check out and look for another place they finally said they have 1 room with air conditioning which they then accommodate us.. I was even willing to pay any extra cost.. but it was not necessary.. the bar and restaurant service and food were good

I had a great room, spacious, clean, looked out over the Spinnaker Tower and the Warrior, and had a really comfortable bed.
The window didn’t fit particularly well so I had two nights of wind whistling through and it was noisy. I should have bought some earplugs which were available to buy from reception.
