We would welcome a dog on property but only when staying in a private room and subject to a fee per dog per Stay. Only Dog under 75lbs./ 34kg.

Luggage can be store for a small fee: $2 per bag for early arrival and $3 per bag after the check out.

AGE RESTRICTIONS: Individuals under the age of 18 can only stay at the Hostel when accompanied by a parent or legal guardian in the same room.

Unaccompanied under 18's are not allowed to stay in shared rooms, unless they are part of a group that has booked out the entire shared room. The group leader must provide the required documentation to Generator. Failure to comply with these policies will result in automatic cancelation of the booking with no refund. They do not take cash at bar, they charge you per item to store your luggage for later flights.
Pros:

We arrived at midnight and someone else had been given our room do we were put in a tiny room with 2 bunk beds overnight with 2 autistic children. They promised they had put 200 dollars back into my bank for the inconvenience, of course this was lies. I had to go through booking dot com to get compensation.

For a short trip and last minute stay it was a good hotel to book for a solo travel

The rooms are tiny and very outdated. The first room that we were put into had a really terrible smell and a lot of dust which caused me to have a pretty severe asthma attack. We were then placed into a different room. It was slightly bigger, but still pretty outdated i’m not super clean

Ideal location, decent enough rooms - staff could be better
Pros:

Location is perfect for Times Square and the surrounding areas. Decor in the hotel is nice and vibrant (although the rooms need a little update)
Coffee shop attached to the hotel was nice for a little breakfast before starting the day, but plenty of alternatives (and cheaper options) in and around the immediate area. (farther from Times Square is almost always way cheaper)

Cons:

Room was small with almost no storage facilities (a half size cupboard, broken safe and two drawers).
Strangers walked into our room half an hour after we had checked in - Staff had double allocated the same room!
Did not feel safe for the entire trip following this. Staff apologised but did nothing else to reassure us.
Asked for more pillows twice, and the staff advised house keeping would bring them - but they never arrived, so stopped asking.
Prices at the bar were very high unless you joined their loyalty scheme. Problem was the QR code for the loyalty program would freeze and not allow you to progress. Tried multiple devices - still no joy.
Entertainment was advertised for one evening, but nothing ever materialised - messed up our plans as we would have gone to a show or similar had we known.

Cons:

Stayed for one night for 300+USD and someone entered my room while I'm away without notice either before or after whatsoever. I noticed only because the AC control panel was replaced and THERE WAS A NAIL LEFT ON THE CARPET AND ANOTHER ONE ON THE NIGHT STAND when I was back. Spoke to the reception about this and the nails that were left dangerously around, and they tried to brush it off and literally told me "Oh we don't know why it happened. Maybe someone else asked to fix the AC and they entered the wrong room. It happens all the time". WILL NOT RECOMMEND.

Too expensive for what you get! Rooms are a diseaster!

The Location is good but hotel is not

Cons:

Too expensive! Room was a diseaster, it feels like a student dorm not a hotel! Very disapointed, we changed hotel after 2 days. Same area much nicer hotel and much more for the money. I am not recommending this hotel!
