Pros:

Good views. We only checked in for a shower as having our house renovated.

Cons:

Very basic. It felt dated and not entirely clean although there was no obvious dirt. I asked if I could have a reduction in price as we would only be in the room for less than the hour. We just needed a shower. The receptionist said that they couldn't reuse the room as no housekeeping was on but a housekeeper was stood at the side of her.

Stay At The Norbreck Castle Hotel To The North Of Blackpool
Pros:

Not a lot. The breakfast the next morning was OK-ish and the staff on breakfast-duty that morning were very helpful.

Cons:

This was, I think, the worst hotel that I have stayed at for a very, very long time!
There weren't any and I mean ANY towels in my room. There wasn't any and again I mean ANY soap in my room. There weren't any bars of soap and the liquid soap / liquid shampoo-body wash dispensers were completely empty as well.
I could not believe it and I was so in shock that I spent a significant amount of time when I first entered the room checking and checking and triple-checking that I hadn't missed either the towels or soap.
In addition the bed wasn't really comfortable and the floor of the bedroom was very dirty and hadn't had a good clean for a number of years.
In addition when I checked-out the following morning I reported all my concerns to the staff on duty and they "said the right things" eg "were sorry about that" but they didn't appear bothered to me and they did NOT offer me any reduction in the amount I paid for the room the night before.
My advice steer well clear of this very very poor hotel.
