For the price we paid, the breakfast was very poor - would get a better breakfast at Premier Inn!! No choice of bread - just toast - had to queue for coffee (can't see why they didn't have 2 coffee machines!). Eggs were cold. Making an omelette would cost an extra £5.00!!!
We didn't realise we had to pay for the spa - £40.00!!!! and there were no slots

What an incredible stay. I went with my mum as we’re from NZ and I’ve lived in London for 15 years so only get to see her occasionally and we wanted a cute little getaway. I can’t even describe how much this exceeded my expectations, such a stunning place, we had afternoon tea and Jane was an absolute delight, so knowledgeable and attentive. The whole place was stunning so we would have been perfectly happy in our original room, but we got upgraded and it was unbelievably comfortable. The trim trail is lovely. I saw 2 muntjac, a deer, and a black fox - they’re crazy rare, make up less than 0.1% of the uk fox population. All the staff are so lovely. I feel bad I didn’t get everyone’s names but the girl with the eyebrow piercing made a really lovely impression too. I feel like I’m raving like a loon, but it’s honestly deserved. Also, have the fresh peaches at breakfast if you come early August. They’re perfection. I could go on, all the little details like iced tea by the front door etc etc. just a gorgeous gorgeous place. Shall definitely be back
Genuinely nothing, I only wish we visited during the Friday or weekend when they hold the events, but it’s a good reason to return
It had a good setting.
The rooms do not have air conditioning which made it very uncomfortable in the current temperatures.
Die Zimmer sind nicht schallisoliert und die anderen Gäste sind unglaublich gut zu hören. Bis in frühen Morgenstunden war lärm. Ohne Klimaanlage sollte das Fenster offen bleiben. das geht nicht! Alles ist zu hören.

Beautiful grounds and a nice big room with a good bathroom.
The room was extremely hot and the window could only be opened a few inches. Fans were provided on request but it was still too hot to sleep. There was an old room key card under a chair which indicated poor housekeeping. The sofa was worn and poor quality. The common areas were air conditioned but the rooms were not. Our room was in a newer part of the building so there is no reason not to provide air conditioning. The breakfast was not good quality - it was in a stuffy back room and laid out in a buffet ( we passed a lovely room enroute where breakfast was been served to conference guests). Coffee was poor and from a machine and there was no option to order breakfast items other than the buffet.
