Pros:

The location is superb if you are arriving by train. Despite being close to the busy part of town it was quiet in our room. Some noise from the room above but not from the street at all...some lovely bird song even. The price was good considering how expensive $witzerland can be. Very good value for the money and we were there for three days.

Cons:

The pillows were not great. That is a small thing but if I was to request one improvement. The place is kind of tired - lovely old building but kind of dingy. Hate to even say that really as it did appear to be clean and the room was large and comfortable. We ate breakfast out as it was nice to explore the lovely city.

Proximity to the railway station. Friendly welcome, large room and bathroom, beautifully appointed.
Buffet breakfast was good, lots of choice and options.

Cons:

Some seating for breakfast on sofas, too low for the breakfast table.

EXCELENTE HOTEL, PERSONAL AMABILISIMO
Pros:

Excelente trato. Peronal muy amable y muy eficiente. Todo facilidades. Hotel amplio y comodo. Habitación enorme, comoda y muy agradable. Baño perfectamente equipado. Parking en la puerta y gratuito.

Todo me gustó, la verdad.

Habitació gran i còmoda. Aparcament gratuit al devant del hotel. Personal molt amable. Bany gran i molt net.

Great, but could be better.
Pros:

The Superior Double and the hotel were very nice, and quiet. The room was big! The hotel is close to the station and other public transport (but, upon turning towards the hotel, the street is quite steep. Welcome to Lausanne). Breakfast was quite good but not outstanding given the price.

Cons:

Given the price (CHF 235 per night, with breakfast) I was disappointed that the room only had paper coffee cups, plastic drinking "glasses", cheap Lipton tea, and three pillows for two people.
