Boa
Pros:

limpeza, localização e atendimento da equipe.

Cons:

Das camas e do atraso na hora do checkin. Informaram que não podiam dar o "early checkin" (direito deles), mas na hora do limite deles de ser até as 15:00 para entrar no quarto, excederam em 1 hora. Sem penalidade ou amenização da situação.

A wonderful French hotel in the heart of Paris
Pros:

A beautiful 5 star hotel five minutes from the Arch. The hotel team could not have been nicer or more accommodating. I highly recommend this property to those who seek an immaculately clean, very well run boutique hotel.

A wonderful respite from the heat
Pros:

Our stay was in the middle of the extreme heat in Paris. The hotel was cool and accommodating. The staff very helpful. The room was well appointed. The bed comfortable in the shower terrific during the heat.

A great place to stay in Paris!
Pros:

We had such an incredible stay at the Sofitel Paris Arc de Triomphe and truly can’t recommend it enough.

From the moment we arrived, we felt so welcomed and taken care of. Check-in was a breeze, and we were greeted by Coco at the front desk, who immediately made us feel at home. He was so kind, warm, and professional, and took the time to walk us through the hotel and all of its amenities.

Our room was on the 6th floor and was absolutely beautiful. We had the cutest little balcony with a lovely Parisian view, which quickly became one of our favorite spots. The room was elegant, comfortable, and had everything we needed. A quick tip for fellow American travelers: hotel rooms in Paris are generally smaller than what we’re used to in the U.S. Our room was perfect for us since we spent most of our days out exploring the city, but if you prefer a little extra space, it may be worth upgrading to the next room category.

One of the absolute highlights of our stay was the concierge team. Giacomo and Fleur were beyond amazing and truly made our trip so special. Giacomo carefully wrote out recommendations for restaurants, neighborhoods, shopping, and things to do, and every single recommendation was spot on. We ended up having one of our favorite meals of the entire trip at a restaurant he suggested and discovered areas of Paris we probably never would have found on our own. Fleur was equally wonderful and offered thoughtful, honest advice that helped us make the most of our time in the city.

Giacomo and Fleur were honestly two of my favorite people we met during our stay, and I genuinely hope you get the chance to interact with them too.

The location of the hotel is fantastic. It’s just a short walk to the Arc de Triomphe, Champs-Élysées, shopping, restaurants, and so many of Paris’ major attractions, yet it still feels tucked away on a quieter street, making it peaceful and relaxing after a busy day of sightseeing.

Breakfast every morning was such a treat. Antoine, Hugo, and the entire breakfast team were so welcoming and attentive. Every interaction felt genuine, and they always made us feel so happy to be there.

The doormen were wonderful as well and always greeted us with a smile. At the end of each day, coming back to the hotel genuinely felt like coming home, and that’s something you don’t find very often.

What really sets this hotel apart is its people. Every single staff member we encountered was kind, professional, welcoming, and eager to help. The level of hospitality was exceptional. They didn’t just provide great service—they made us feel like family.

If you’re trying to decide where to stay in Paris, make it the Sofitel Paris Arc de Triomphe. Between the beautiful accommodations, perfect location, incredible breakfast, and truly outstanding staff, this was one of the best hotel experiences we’ve ever had.

We’re already looking forward to coming back.

Not a true 5-star luxury experience, very disappointing for a Diamond member
Pros:

I chose Sofitel Paris Arc de Triomphe expecting a true 5-star Parisian luxury experience, especially being an Accor Diamond member and a frequent guest of luxury hotels worldwide. Unfortunately, the stay was far below expectations.

I booked a Premier Junior Suite, but the room I received did not match the expectations for this category. Based on the size, layout and overall feeling, it looked much closer to a regular Junior Suite rather than the premium suite category I had booked. Instead of feeling recognized as a loyal Diamond guest, I had the opposite impression.

The biggest issue is that the hotel simply does not feel like a luxury 5-star property. The interiors, room finishing, corridors and overall atmosphere are much closer to a good 4-star business hotel. There is no sense of arrival, exclusivity, or attention to detail that you normally expect from a luxury hotel in Paris.

Service was also inconsistent:

* Breakfast service was disappointing: orders were forgotten or mixed up several times.
* Housekeeping entered my room despite the “Do Not Disturb” sign being displayed, which is unacceptable at this level and a clear privacy issue.

What makes this experience especially disappointing is that this is my second consecutive negative experience with an Accor luxury brand. As a loyal Diamond member, I expect consistency, attention to detail and proper recognition, but unfortunately this stay showed a significant gap between the advertised luxury positioning and the actual guest experience.

At the current price level, I cannot recommend Sofitel Paris Arc de Triomphe. Paris has many true luxury hotels where the quality of rooms, service culture and guest experience are on a completely different level.

Unacceptable smell in Junior Suite — had to leave early
Pros:

We booked a Junior Suite at Sofitel Paris Arc de Triomphe for 6 nights starting Friday 10 April, but unfortunately our experience was very disappointing and we had to leave the hotel early.

We checked in with the assistance of Max at reception and were given Suite 305. As soon as we entered, there was a strong and unpleasant urine smell in the suite. We raised the issue with reception, but it was not properly fixed.

Max tried to help by offering us other suites, including 216 or 416, but the same smell issue was present there as well. This made the stay extremely uncomfortable and unacceptable, especially for a hotel with the Sofitel name and pricing.

In addition, the breakfast selection was limited and below expectations for a luxury hotel in Paris.

After trying to resolve the issue and seeing no acceptable solution, we decided to terminate our stay and move to the Marriott Champs-Élysées. This was very disappointing, especially since we had planned to stay for 6 nights.

Overall, this was not the level of quality, cleanliness, or service we expected from Sofitel. I would not recommend this hotel based on our experience.

Pros:
