Great location, nice room and great restaurant onsite although I won’t stay again due to the carpark

We weren’t advised that maintenance is being done to the gym so unable to use the gym. The pool wasn’t heated as per website. The underneath carpark is very scary to park in. If you have a SUV or larger I’d consider parking elsewhere as there are many pillars very close together that you have to navigate ti get through.

Would not stay there again or recommend it to any of our friends.
Pros:

The location was great; the room was clean and spacious. There were only a couple of staff members that were welcoming and polite.

Cons:

The hotel was extremely noisy at all hours, even during the night, slamming door, music playing loudly at 3am.
Most of the staff were dismissive and certainly did not make me feel welcome at all.

Nice hotel, would stay again
Pros:

Very comfortable and clean. Certainly would stay there again. Staff were very pleasant and helpful. Within walking distance of the city and the train station. Next to the beautiful Roma Street Parklands. We arrived late and left early in the morning, so we didn't use any of the facilities (bar, pool, gym).

Cons:

It was a bit noisy, but not massively so. Noise both from outside the hotel and inside. Seemed to be a bit of construction work going on in the surrounding area. Insulation between rooms could be better.

Comfortable and I liked the foyer. Good breakfast, need an attendant when busy, food area gets messy

Breakfast was OK. The fruit selection was good. Last time we were there the coffee from the cafe was complimentary.

Cons:

The price per night was on the high end of what was expected to be~ $300/pnight. Counter staff were lovely and helpful. Disappointed that gym and pool were non-operational. This was a feature we liked from a previous stay. Location ok. A pity that Booking.com does not transfer to membership points.

Pros:

Close to where I was working

Cons:

Given a room next to lift where pipes in bathroom were blocked. Bathroom had musty smell. Apartment flooded after a short shower. They did give me another room, but curious as to why I was given the room to start with when there were many other rooms vacant. And nobody bothered to change the last person’s name on the TV. Didn’t need the stress of the room change
