Une parenthèse enchantée
Pros:

L’hôtel a un charme fou. C’est havre de paix très bien entretenu.
Et le personnel est adorable

Cons:

La femme qui nous a accueilli a été extrêmement courtoise jusqu’au moment où pour la remercier de sa gentillesse je lui ai dit Toda Raba (merci beaucoup en hébreu) et elle m’a répondu avec soudain un air pincé « Here we don’t say Toda Raba, we say Choukran ».
Je suis persuadé que si j’avais dit Muchas gracias thank you, elle ne m’aurait fait aucune remarque de ce genre.
Dans un hôtel cinq étoiles, leading Hotel of the world, il me semble inapproprié de faire ce genre de remarque à un client, c’est absolument déplacé!! Juifs ou non juifs devraient être un non sujet. Nous sommes en Israël, je paye en Shekels et devrait pouvoir dire Toda Raba sans me sentir jugée.
