We relaxed and rested and had the perfect time.
Pros:

Beautiful, timely, cozy, and a wonderful time. The pool was nice and cool. We loved staying at the galvez.

Beautiful hotel! Would stay again!
Pros:

Location was close to port terminals. Walking distance to the pier for entertainment. Friendly staff. Beautiful interior decor.

Cons:

The neighborhood was kinda sketchy. I did not like that unless you valet you vehicle, you had to find parking on the street somewhere.

Location was good. Decor was awesome

Cons:

Not able to use outdoor amenities due to weather. Over priced spa services which I would have used in lieu of outdoor if affordable

My 4 year old grandbaby said it best when asked about the hotel. She said, "it's beautiful and I like it".
Pros:

The property was gorgeous. Rooms, hallways and elevators were clean and well kept. Beds were comfortable. Bathrooms were updated and relaxing. The staff were nice across the board. Even the guests were in good mood which I saw as a reflection of such a wonderful staff and property. This will be our family go-to-hotel in Galveston from this point forward.

Cons:

Only had one elevator working during our stay but it was easily negotiated.
