The hotel's Welcome Lounge at Kyoto Station is located on the ground floor of the Cerema Building. It's open daily from 09:30 until 17:00, and accessible only to staying guests.
Free shuttle locations and schedules:
- From the Welcome Lounge at Kyoto Station, the shuttle departs at the top (--:00) and bottom (--:30) of every hour between 10:30 and 17:00, except at 12:30 and 15:00.
- From Hotel Okura Kyoto, the shuttle departs at --:05 and --:35 every hour between 10:05 and 16:35, except at 12:05 and 14:35.
Please note that the shuttle takes about 20-25 minutes, depending on traffic conditions. Staff will meet guests at the hotel lobby or the Welcome Lounge.
The luggage delivery service operates as follows:
Luggage received by 14:00 at the Welcome Lounge will arrive at the hotel by 17:00.
Luggage received by 11:00 at the hotel will arrive at the Welcome Lounge at the requested time between 14:00 and 17:00.
Parking will be available from January 1, 2026, for an additional charge of JPY 2,000 per night from the day of check-in until 15:00 on the following day.An accommodation tax per person, per night is not included in the price and must be paid at the property.
A deposit may be required at the property.

Location is nice.
staff is not properly trained. Remember to put do not disturb on the door, otherwise they will bang on the door early morning. The hotel is very old. Mattress is a disaster, toilet is old and not functioning properly.
東山向きの眺望の良い部屋にアップグレードしたのでお部屋にいてもリラックス出来た。
連泊したので和食も楽しめたが食後のコーヒーがサービスであれば良かった。
The staff was amazing! Very helpful and friendly. From helping us with the luggages, sending us adapters when we needed them, to helping us cancelling a restaurant reservation that we had a hard time contacting. They also helped us to get a 7 seater taxi when we could not find one. Food at breakfast was great, the restaurant on the 17th floor has a nice view of Kamo River, it was so relaxing to have breakfast every morning! The rooms were big, comfortable and clean.
The location was great with direct access to the underground mall and train station.
Everything was perfect! We will be back to Hotel Okura next time for sure! We enjoyed our stay and still miss the quiet and calm vibes, and the great city view from our hotel room
