Important information:

Please note that some of the hotel's restaurants have a dress code, and some do not allow children under 10 years of age.

The hotel's Welcome Lounge at Kyoto Station is located on the ground floor of the Cerema Building. It's open daily from 09:30 until 17:00, and accessible only to staying guests.

Free shuttle locations and schedules:
- From the Welcome Lounge at Kyoto Station, the shuttle departs at the top (--:00) and bottom (--:30) of every hour between 10:30 and 17:00, except at 12:30 and 15:00.
- From Hotel Okura Kyoto, the shuttle departs at --:05 and --:35 every hour between 10:05 and 16:35, except at 12:05 and 14:35.
Please note that the shuttle takes about 20-25 minutes, depending on traffic conditions. Staff will meet guests at the hotel lobby or the Welcome Lounge.

The luggage delivery service operates as follows:
Luggage received by 14:00 at the Welcome Lounge will arrive at the hotel by 17:00.
Luggage received by 11:00 at the hotel will arrive at the Welcome Lounge at the requested time between 14:00 and 17:00.

Parking will be available from January 1, 2026, for an additional charge of JPY 2,000 per night from the day of check-in until 15:00 on the following day.An accommodation tax per person, per night is not included in the price and must be paid at the property.

Pros:

設備やサービスは良かった

Cons:

枕、寝具がよく無く、夜とても疲れていたのに中々寝付けず、友人も私と同意見でした。
是非改善して欲しいと思いました。

Great Hotel for Family Trips
Pros:

I stayed here about ten years ago, and it left such a wonderful impression that I decided to return.

This is an ideal hotel for traveling with older family members. It has a classic charm while being impeccably clean and comfortable. The location is excellent, and the view from the room was outstanding, offering a panoramic look over eastern Kyoto. The staff were exceptionally kind and attentive, making our stay completely comfortable and hassle-free.

If I visit Kyoto again, I would definitely choose to stay here again.

Cons:

The only disappointing part of our stay occurred after we checked out, when we took the hotel's shuttle bus to Kyoto Station.

One staff member insisted that my younger brother sit in the front passenger seat without offering any explanation. She spoke in a stern, commanding tone and wore an unfriendly expression. Since there were still empty seats available in the back, we found it both confusing and uncomfortable that he was singled out and asked to sit in the front passenger seat. Even now, I still wonder why she acted that way.

It is unfortunate that this incident overshadowed what had otherwise been a wonderful stay and diminished the fond memories we had of the hotel.

Genel olarak çok şık avangard bir beş yıldızlı oteldi, odamızı upgrade edip Japonya’daki belki de en büyük odayı ayarlamaları inanılmaz bir jestti

Cons:

Çok bir şey yoktu ama illa söylemem gerekirse belki biraz eski moda olması diyebilirim ama kesinlikle rahatsız edici değildi.
