Important information:

Please note that some of the hotel's restaurants have a dress code, and some do not allow children under 10 years of age.

The hotel's Welcome Lounge at Kyoto Station is located on the ground floor of the Cerema Building. It's open daily from 09:30 until 17:00, and accessible only to staying guests.

Free shuttle locations and schedules:
- From the Welcome Lounge at Kyoto Station, the shuttle departs at the top (--:00) and bottom (--:30) of every hour between 10:30 and 17:00, except at 12:30 and 15:00.
- From Hotel Okura Kyoto, the shuttle departs at --:05 and --:35 every hour between 10:05 and 16:35, except at 12:05 and 14:35.
Please note that the shuttle takes about 20-25 minutes, depending on traffic conditions. Staff will meet guests at the hotel lobby or the Welcome Lounge.

The luggage delivery service operates as follows:
Luggage received by 14:00 at the Welcome Lounge will arrive at the hotel by 17:00.
Luggage received by 11:00 at the hotel will arrive at the Welcome Lounge at the requested time between 14:00 and 17:00.

Parking will be available from January 1, 2026, for an additional charge of JPY 2,000 per night from the day of check-in until 15:00 on the following day.An accommodation tax per person, per night is not included in the price and must be paid at the property.
A deposit may be required at the property.

This hotel is sophisticated, elegant and provides old school charm and supreme service.
Pros:

We were totally impressed with this amazing hotel. The decor is grand and reminiscent of a by-gone era. We were greeted by a lovely young doorman and another staff member who took our luggage to our room. All staff were extremely attentive and helpful throughout our 5 day stay. The hotel restaurants are first class and the attention to detail in all areas is second to none. The location is quiet and convenient. Taxis are readily available outside the hotel, under cover and summoned by amazingly helpful doormen. This hotel deserves a 20/10 score, we will definitely stay again.

Pros:

The hotel was good. Booking.com as a service provider and platform are a disaster. I have messaged booking.com multiple times with a problem to solve and no messages have been responded to. I have cancelled all future bookings through booking.com. I would suggest Okura remove themselves from booking.com immediately.

Fijn mooi centraal gelegen hotel

Heerlijk hotel met grote kamers en ook een mooie ruime badkamer. Vriendelijk personeel. Uitstekende lokatie. Boven metrostation en ondergronds winkelcentrum.

Cons:

Ik had het hotel uitgezocht vanwege het zwembad/sauna. Helaas is dit alleen tegen een (forse) vergoeding mogelijk en op reservering. Waarschijnlijk heb ik de kleine lettertjes niet goed gelezen.

Pros:

I absolutely loved the view and extra large window from my 15th floor room, loved the daily bath salts and a full bath, as well as all of the toiletries provided. I requested 2 extra pillows and they were delivered promptly. The bed was firm but more comfortable than any other bed Ive slept in, in 3 wks.

Bed was a little firm for my liking.
