Important information:

Please note that some of the hotel's restaurants have a dress code, and some do not allow children under 10 years of age.

The hotel's Welcome Lounge at Kyoto Station is located on the ground floor of the Cerema Building. It's open daily from 09:30 until 17:00, and accessible only to staying guests.

Free shuttle locations and schedules:
- From the Welcome Lounge at Kyoto Station, the shuttle departs at the top (--:00) and bottom (--:30) of every hour between 10:30 and 17:00, except at 12:30 and 15:00.
- From Hotel Okura Kyoto, the shuttle departs at --:05 and --:35 every hour between 10:05 and 16:35, except at 12:05 and 14:35.
Please note that the shuttle takes about 20-25 minutes, depending on traffic conditions. Staff will meet guests at the hotel lobby or the Welcome Lounge.

The luggage delivery service operates as follows:
Luggage received by 14:00 at the Welcome Lounge will arrive at the hotel by 17:00.
Luggage received by 11:00 at the hotel will arrive at the Welcome Lounge at the requested time between 14:00 and 17:00.

Parking will be available from January 1, 2026, for an additional charge of JPY 2,000 per night from the day of check-in until 15:00 on the following day.An accommodation tax per person, per night is not included in the price and must be paid at the property.

京都駅前にウエルカムラウンジがありホテルまでのシャトルバス、休憩施設が利用できる。帰りはホテルに荷物を預け
観光後、ウエルカムラウンジで受け取れので便利。

Cons:

朝食の和定食（８F）は大変良かったが、バイキング（17F)は全ての料理が安物で低レベル。

Pros:

The breakfast options were excellent thank you. We were very happy with both the breakfast locations. The service from your staff including your concierge staff was excellent. Its great to see a Hotel upholding the old values and quality way of servicing your customers. We travel regularly to Japan at least once or twice a year and we have noticed that many hotels in Japan have lowered their standards. It is good to see that Okura is upholding the standards that make you a great hotel to stay in.

Cons:

We tried to register for One Harmony but were told that your system has not been working since March. As regular visitors to Japan we would have hoped that you would set us up for One Harmony and include our points from this last stay. That was disappointing. It will play an important role in our consideration of which hotel to stay in on future visits.

Exceptional
Pros:

It was a true 5 star hotel. The property was grand , clean , had all facilities and exceptionally well maintained. There was a metro station access on the property and a bus stop a few steps from the hotels. Taxis were always available outside the hotel. Close to convenience stores and restaurants. The staff was so so polite and went above & beyond to help you out. Very very efficient, smiling and courteous staff

Cons:

The coffee shop was quite expensive. Apart from that there was nothing not to like about this hotel

Hotel was v good
Pros:

Excellent breakfast and location. Though a bit expensive.

Cons:

We had asked for a double room but we're given a single room which was very small and the bed also was hard to share. Booking.com also charged us before the stay. We had wanted to pay at the hotel. This was disappointing. Because we wanted each room to pay for themselves.
Booking.com did not do this in the previous place we stayed at.

スタッフの一人一人が魅力的です。フレンドリーな対応だけでなく、顧客の希望にいかに添えるかの姿勢を感じました。部屋まで案内をしてくれた方、レストランの予約で相談にのってくれるコンシェルジュ、レストランの方、地下のブーランジェリーの方。帰りの送迎バスに案内してくれた方、送迎バスの方。設備、立地だけでなく人に価値があるホテルです。

Cons:

些細ですが大切なことをお伝えします。テレビのリモコンが埃まみれでした。部屋掃除は忙しいと思いますが、せめて二週間三週間に一度くらいは各部屋を周り、清掃してください。他が素晴らしいだけに気になります。

Difficult to book a room, so BOOK EARLY!
Pros:

Wonderful in every way, especially for a long stay. Expectation was high when booked, but actual experience exceeded expectations. Most exceptional. . .SERVICE with smiles and willingness to help. Rooms book quickly so BOOK EARLY.

Cons:

Liked everything about staying at Okura was SUPERIOR. What I didn't like was not a fault of the hotel, but transportation around the city required use of taxi most of the time. Taxi was expensive.
