Important information:

From 1st January 2023, a tourist tax of RM 10 per room per night is applied to all foreign guests. This tax is not included in the room rate and must be paid upon check-in. Guests with a valid Malaysian Identity Card or valid permanent residents MY PR Card are exempted. The name on the credit card used for the booking must correspond to the guest staying at the property.

Excellent, one of the best hotel I have stayed in.
Pros:

The staff are very friendly, location of the hotel is good and convenient with linkway to Sunway Pyramid mall.
Hotel room is very beautiful and new.

Je moet er van houden. Wij in ieder geval niet.
Pros:

Als je van over de top en goud houdt, dan is het jouw bestemming. En voor kleine kinderen is het ook een Walhalla. Club kamer was prima.

Cons:

Het personeel. Alleen de mannetjes in de lobby (deur openhouden, bagage enz) waren schattig. De rest niet. Ik had het al kunnen weten want op mijn bericht maanden voor aankomst en reminder is nooit gereageerd geweest. Dus communicatie liep al stroef. Maar na 14 dagen Maleisië niet eerder zulk teleurstellend personeel meegemaakt als daar.

Could have been better!
Pros:

Nice hotel, friendly and helpful staff and a pretty good location. Anyway, once you arrive in the Sunway world you are also pretty much confined into this area.
The Black Tap restaurant can be recommended, food is pretty good but a bit overprized. The Happy Hour offers are a nice compensation for the overprized food. But their service has a lot of room for improvements.

Cons:

It's one of those hotels where they try to bridge the requirements of business travelers (exhibition and conference center in the next building) and the expectations of family vacationers (theme park, water world, etc.). Not an easy task but guests who walk into the Gordon Ramsey restaurant for breakfast in flipflops and shorts should be redirected to the breakfast buffet restaurant. Anyway, it seems Gordon Ramsey wasn't there because the service and the quality of the food left me disappointed.
I would have also expected a proper coffee machine in the room, that's in the meantime a standard in 5* hotels in Asia.
