Pros:

Breakfast, checkout @ 12, spacious room, walk in shower, lift, location, very helpful and impressive staff

Cons:

The room being so close to the elevator, the made a noise when the elevator was used
The shower stall floor tended to be slippery

One night stay during the Edinburgh Fringe
Pros:

The hotel has a great location near to Holyrood Palace but away from the busy, crowded streets. The room was very comfortable, well furnished, cool with a quiet aircon system, and quiet to sleep. Breakfast was very enjoyable with no extra costs for a la carte items. The staff were really good both at reception and at breakfast. Only had time for a quick gym session but the gym was well equipped and above average for a hotel gym.

Cons:

Nothing to dislike about the hotel. Like all hotels during the Edinburgh Fringe, the cost of the room was quite high.

I will definitely stay at this hotel again, and Edinburgh has so much to offer every time I am up there

Wenn man in der Nähe der Altstadt sein will, fußnah und gutes Preis Leistungsverhältnis sucht, dann ist das das Hotel.
Pros:

Sauber, nettes Personal, tolle Lage. Minimal außerhalb des Trubels aber trotzdem sehr nah in Laufnähe an der zentralen Fußgängerzone.
