Access to The Old Waverley requires climbing 27 steps to our first floor reception area. If you arrive with luggage there is a bell to call a porter to assist you.

Check in went smooth. Loved having my luggage carried up and down the stairs
Our room had porthole windows. It was very hot and very noisy. There was only one unused electrical outlet and it was on the floor by the door. Not convenient at all. Bar person could only make the drinks on the menu. I ordered a cosmo and I don’t think there was any vodka in it. We ordered shrimp scampi in the restaurant and got shrimp nuggets. There was no scampi

Noisy overnight because no double glazing but it’s an old building so you expect that

Excelente ubicación, impecable, un buen desayuno.
Milý a velmi ochotný personál, super poloha hotelu. Vybavení pokoje hezké a pokoj cisty. Postele byly velmi prijemne a pohodlne.
Pokoj mel jen jedno okno do svetliku, ktere navic neslo otevrit, takze to pusobilo velmi depresivne a v pokoji tak nebylo denni svetlo v podstate vubec nikdy. A podlaha v pokoji byla křivá tak, ze kufr postavený v jednom rohu sam odlel ke dverim pokoje. Ze je podlaha “do kopce” bylo patrné na prvni pohled pouhym okem.
Good room. Good breakfast and helpful staff
The lift was out of order from my arrival on Sunday and still when I left on Wednesday. My room was on the fourth floor and at age 80 with some mobility issues, it was hard work. No possibility for change of room. Only compensation was a 20% food voucher, which I used because I was too tired to go out again.

El ascensor no llega a la calle, hay que subir un piso de escaleras.
Falta un poquito de presión en la ducha.
It's very Central and near the Bus and Train stations and the Airport Bus.
The Lift broke down twice!!! After a serious discussion, as we were on the top floor, we were begrudgingly given a small discount, which we gladly accepted.

Great location!! Loved the restaurant and bar area!!
The elevator/lift was broke most of the time I was there. I was on the 6th floor and had to walk up 6 flights of stairs when the elevator was not in use. I chose this hotel because they advertised an elevator/lift. It made it very hard to appreciate the hotel due to the issues wth the elevator/lift not working.
