Everything
Nothing
The room is small but perfectly formed - everything you need, with enough space, but not much extra space to spare. The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming. ALso a 3 minute walk to central station.
The breakfast wasn’t something we would ever eat and the coffee made by the receptionist was undrinkable. The dinner the night before was love and the service from Maria was second to none. The location of the hotel is superb and would definitely stay again and loved the bed. The shower definitely needs a door made a real mess every time we showered. Overall would recommend.
Not much to be honest
No parking was the biggest issue had to park on the street take luggage out, no one there to assist with luggage, then drive to a car park and walk back.
Close to train station
Bed was comfortable
Bath was good size
No room service on Sunday ls and Mondays
No dinner, restaurant on Sunday nights
No valet parking attendant
Room was beautiful and very spacious. Quaint, boutique hotel. Friendly staff and very accommodating. Lovely bar at the front of the hotel.
Nothing. First time I stayed and will go back.
Unique, cosy and welcoming, staff fabulous and attentive, good location for work, easy check in, rooms big, bed comfy,
Not easy access to eating / food if restaurant is closed on a Sunday.
Good location and friendly staff
Complementary coffee and pastries in the morning
Has a bit of character
1. Lack of soundproofing on the windows in a hotel close to a big road and a train station
2. There was a charge on my card post check out without any communication or invoice, I have called multiple times to resolve this and have either not got through or been told I'd be called back and not had a call back
I suspect I've been charged for a missing glass from the room. When we checked in there was only 1 glass and we didn't bother asking for another one as we didn't need it
The room wasnt checked on check out
Trying to sort this out is taking up a lot of my time and is frankly unacceptable
3. General lack of quality with fit and finish
For example the sink moves the tap splashes the shower drainage was slow leading to pooling of water
Numerous other small things
I wouldn't have recommended the hotel without this issue anyway. The lack of sound proofing and overall lack of quality would make me pay a little more for somewhere better.
I recently stayed at the Capri by Fraser just around the corner and it was miles better.
The room was a good size and the bed was comfortable.
A lot of things just didn't quite work properly. The issues on their own were manageable but when you stack them up, they made the stay a bit stressful, which is not what you want on a holiday. Things that didn't quite work include: bathroom that didn't drain very well, air conditioning that switches to heat mode every day (we had to call reception to reset it from their end), a TV that would get stuck on the "start" screen (we didn't end up using it), and room cards that didn't work on our second day (instead of admitting that the cards were not set up properly for the number of days of our stay, the receptionist asked if we put the cards next to our phones which would have made them malfunction? We have travelled a lot and stayed at many other places before but have not experienced this.)
Comfy beds, good location, friendly staff, helpful with extras for bdays
Small parts of the room could do with some maintenance. Bad plaster patching in ceiling, wall paper coming off
Super friendly and helpful staff
Single ply toilet paper
