The venue was nice but the music was too loud and the location of our room was not favourable.
Pros:

The room was spacious and the bed was comfortable.

Cons:

The noise. There was a lot of traffic noise and the night we stayed there was a band playing downstairs. Our room was very close to the area and the noise was intolerable. There was also a lot of cigarette spoke wafting up and in through our windows. It was very unpleasant.

Perfectly adequate for our needs.
Pros:

Reception was quick and easy - a security deposit is required ($100) refunded on or after departure. Historic building. Bathroom with a spa bath in our room. Bed was sprung such that one person moving could disturb another light sleeper. Quite comfortable for me. Evening meals available in the hotel. We dined there and were quite satisfied with the meals and the service.

Cons:

Parking is remote from the room and for most spaces involves negotiating one or more flights of steps. Parking area well lit and equipped with security cameras. (Actually a like!). But based on the the staff comment I got the feeling there might have been attempts at vehicle breakin in the past. The security deposit is by cash or credit card, but cash requires that you leave after the office opens at, I think, 8:00am.
