Great for long or short stays.
Pros:

The location is great. Nice and easy to get to with plenty of parking available. The restaurant was exceptional. Everything was cooked to perfection and great value for money.

Great staff and good value but too noisy
Pros:

The staff that we met at reception and in the restaurant were very welcoming. Our meals were very nice and good value. The location is central and the room had everything that we needed. We appreciated the heat pump when it was a bit chilly in the morning.

Cons:

I found the bed very firm but others might like that. There was a lot of street noise which I guess is to be expected on Great North Road but it went on past midnight. There were also some raucous guests who were not bothered about disturbing other people. And what sounded like bins being moved about late at night. Would be fine if you're a heavy sleeper or have earplugs.

Great; happy with everything. A bonus having the bar/restaurant onsite.
Pros:

Love the location, close to Ponsonby and the city but without the hassle of being in the city. The room was great as usual and the beds are comfy.

Great location for Eden Park
Pros:

Great location for Eden Park, staff were very kind

Cons:

RIGHT outside our bedroom window was the huge pump for the pool that went almost all night and was so loud we barely got any sleep and also the big bright light in the foyer shon right in our window.
The fan in the bathroom didn't work and the window was either wide open or had to be closed shut.
The shower around the bottom was also very dirty in the corners
