Arizona Inn has charm & history
Pros:

Beautiful historic hotel & grounds Ee enjoyed the pool, library, afternoon tea. Our room was a king first floor with a delightful shaded sitting area in front. Located in a quiet historic neighborhood.

Cons:

Bicycles weren’t in good working order, which is a shame because the neighborhood & UA campus is great to explore by bike

Isabella Greenway was ahead of her time when she opened this Inn in 1930 with such beauty.
Pros:

The property was so beautifully landscaped. The interior was incredible from the library to the dining room
The food was incredible at the Audubon Bar and Grill. Very accommodating when I requested bread.
The amenities in the room were incredible -- a glass decanter filled with cold water. Nice for Arizona visitors!

Cons:

I didn't get a map of the property until I left (when I needed to find ice for my travel cup).
Also I was disappointed that the DIning Room was closed Monday when I visited. But I was able to look inside and feel the ambience of an era gone by.

A hotel you can't experience at many destinations.
Pros:

Location is central to all tucson has to offer. Ambience was excellent - old Tucson charm. Grounds were exceptional - again, Tucson charm.

Super cute place to stay and relax while being just a short drive from anything in Tucson or some mountains !
Pros:

Everything! It had such a cool old western charm that I didn’t want to leave ! Staff was super helpful and nice , bartender made some great cocktails and we didn’t eat much on site but breakfasts were good! Pool was large and not too crowded , rooms were comfy! Gardens were great! I’d love to come back one day !

Cons:

Nothing! Would have liked a better bathtub, they were just standard bath tubs but other than that it was perfect!

Quiet, beautiful historic property - a real refuge.
Pros:

The Inn is a legendary historic spot in a lovely and quiet low rise residential neighborhood. My room was very quiet with a large walk in closet and a private patio with garden view. The food is excellent and there is a more formal dining room as well. The library is enormous and welcoming, with afternoon tea served 3 days a week and daily newspapers. The vibe is elegant, old school, quiet but not stuffy. The pool is fabulous; a good size, thick new lounge cushions and umbrellas and on site food service in the early afternoon. The gardens are beautiful and the site is filled with desert plants and enormous palm trees…the hotel grounds being 19 acres, you feel happily isolated but it’s a quick ride to museums and restaurants. Unlikely bonus if you need laundry…very affordable and priced by the pound instead of the usual $6 per bra, etc of hotels at this price.

Cons:

Overall, a great experience. It did seem to have a majority of much older clients (70s and up) with a mix of younger ones (30s-50s.) I doubt this quieter spot would appeal to hip/trendy/Insta/designer obsessed 20 somethings.

There is no room service available. The lobby and library decor is formal (beautiful antique furniture and art) but may not appeal to some. Only the second floor rooms are lower priced.
