There were few bugs in o e room or bed area


I was not aware of parking fees.
Parking was not included or was there discount
For valley parking was $55.00 per day for suv
We had two vehicle so we had to park I. The public beach for&45.00 per day per vehicle which added up.

Best place to stay in Southern California
Pros:

Balboa in our place for a relaxing beach retreat staff is very warm and friendly and the food is delicious here

Pros:

Really enjoyed my stay at the Balboa Inn. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. The bed was very comfortable and the view and location can’t be beat.

Never Again.
Pros:

The location was great. The room was uninhabitable because of the smell of a dead rat coming up through the drain in the sink. We were moved to a room the size of a closet. No working phone or smoke alarm. The bathroom had room for one person. This review is generous. I took pictures.

The propert was quaint and gave the feel of you are welcome and if you don’t have to leave study as long as are able.
Pros:

The location and proximity to all. The restaurant was amazing, make survey o say hello to Marcelo. I look forward to staying soon and many more times in the future. Balboa Pier was walking distance from our the location.

Pros:

Staff was amazing, the room was clean, and the bed and pillows were so comfortable. Great area close to so much! The whole facility was clean and beautiful. And valet parking was great.

There is nothing I didnt like, everything was great!

Overall, would stay again at the Balboa Inn.
Pros:

We loved the location on the beach and walking distance to bike rental and breakfast shops. The hotel with 24 hour check in worked well for our late evening check in’s. Ken and front desk crew were very welcoming. We enjoyed a front balcony room watching the beach and boardwalk immensely. I really liked the various lighting options in the room. Loved the walkways, flowers, overall feel of the hotel.

Cons:

Continental breakfast was disappointing for the price, muffins in plastic bags. Could have been presented better.

The Best Hotel on the Beach.
Pros:

I will start with my Valet which was quick and attendative. Our check inn was everything we asked for. Oceanview was perfect. We had a couple of drinks at the bar and couldn’t have had a better bartender Rich made our drinks better than anticipated with a twist. We also had dinner at the Italian Restaurant Matera and had the ravioli lobster with the Salmon. It was excellent not to mention our service from Marcelo. He knew the menu well, it was another great experience. We will return.
