My stay at Sonesta ES Suites Irvine was absolutely wonderful! From the moment I arrived, I was welcomed by an incredibly friendly, professional, and genuinely caring team.
A special thank you to Mr. Aldrich, the manager, who is truly a hands-on leader. He pays attention to every little detail and goes above and beyond to make sure every guest is happy and feels valued. His dedication is reflected throughout the entire hotel.
The front desk team—Arlene, Emily, Eric, and Jonathan—always greeted me with a warm smile and were consistently helpful, professional, and accommodating. They made every interaction a pleasure.
The housekeeping team, led by Alysa, along with Eric, Maria, and everyone else, does an outstanding job. They take great pride in keeping the hotel spotless and making guests feel comfortable.
What makes this hotel so special is that everyone works together like one big family, and as a guest, you truly feel like part of it. It really became my home away from home.

The property is in a good location close to shopping center, kind of hidden, quiet, and peaceful
There was nothing about the property that I didn’t like it was perfect for me and my husband
The location was good; not too far from the freeway in central Orange County. There were many stores and restaurants within a 15 min. drive. The room was large and comfortable (king sized 1 bdrm). The kitchen had everything we needed. The staff was friendly. There is lots of (paid, $7 day) parking. The area is safe.
The charge for parking, especially since there is plenty of it. This feels like being "nickel and dimed". Also, the toilet paper was very thin. We were on the 2nd floor (of 3 floors) and we could hear the folks in the room above us (so ask for the top floor).

I don’t understand how you can charge a paying guest nightly parking fees.
It didn’t feel clean at all. This hotel needs to be remodeled. Even though the staff were doing their best to keep every corner of the hotel clean, it didn’t make much of a difference because the property is very old. The hallway carpet was dirty and had an unpleasant smell.
