Excellent choice in Old Town
Pros:

This is a great hotel. We were in town to visit Tanganyika Wildlife Park. This hotel served as a perfect home base for the room was a large suite with a refrigerator and cook top. The bedding was so comfortable. The shower was fine, but not extraordinary. The staff was very friendly and the hotel is very conveniently located. We wandered the farmers market on Saturday and had a lot of good restaurant choices in walking distance. I highly recommend this hotel.

Great Stay
Pros:

This is a lovely boutique hotel, that has recently been renovated. The staff are friendly and welcoming. The rooms are beautiful, the beds and bedding is very comfy and clean. There is a little kitchenette in the rooms, they have a nice breakfast buffet and a beautiful lounge area. The weekends they have a really piano bar.

Nostalgic Modern and Comfortable
Pros:

I had the most amazing time. The location is perfect! The employees are amazing. They are incredibly helpful, thoughtful, and friendly. They make you feel like they are there for you. Everything was very clean and accommodating. The hotel is historic and feels nostalgic but is also modern and comfortable. My room was beautiful with a lovely view and the available amenities were a nice touch. I have returned and will continue to return.

Pros:

Absolutely beautiful hotel. So unique! The room was very clean. The price was great, especially for how nice this hotel was. I loved the little evening time lounge they offer as well.

Cons:

There were 3 out of 6 dryers broke in the laundry room, which meant after washing my clothes, I had to wait nearly an hour to dry them.

Best Hotel in Wichita!
Pros:

We have stayed at the Hotel at Old Town a few times now. It is by far our favorite Wichita hotel. The hotel is consistently very clean, the rooms are well equipped with an almost full-sized refrigerator, a microwave, paper towels, a small coffee maker, and a small cook top. The bathroom is large and the walk-in shower offers plenty of room even for those with some mobility issues. The lobby is clean and beautiful, and we appreciated the coffee and tea available all day. We had to extend our stay by a few days due to unforeseen circumstances, and the hotel was able to accommodate us. We appreciate the covered parking garage as well.

Historic Charm, Outstanding Hospitality, and the Perfect Old Town Location
Pros:

Hotel at Old Town was one of the highlights of my visit to Wichita and one of my favorite hotels from a nine-day Midwest road trip.

Located in Wichita's Historic Old Town district, the hotel combines the character of a beautifully restored historic warehouse with the comfort and amenities of a modern hotel. From the moment I walked into the multi-story atrium, I knew this wasn't going to be an ordinary stay. The natural light, exposed brick, and historic displays throughout the building give the property a unique personality that's hard to find in larger chain hotels.

Our atrium-facing double queen room was spacious, quiet, and exceptionally comfortable. The beds were among the best I've slept in while traveling, and despite being within walking distance of restaurants and nightlife, the hotel was remarkably peaceful at night. I also appreciated the complimentary covered parking garage, which made it easy to leave the car behind and explore Old Town on foot.

One of the things that stood out most was the staff. Every interaction was warm, welcoming, and genuinely helpful. From coordinating our stay before arrival to making us feel at home throughout our visit, the customer service was outstanding.

Breakfast each morning included both hot and continental options, fresh fruit, and a great selection to start the day before exploring Wichita.

If you're visiting Wichita—whether for business, a weekend getaway, or attractions like Tanganyika Wildlife Park—I highly recommend Hotel at Old Town. Its combination of historic character, comfortable accommodations, walkable location, and exceptional hospitality made it feel like much more than a hotel. It truly became part of our Wichita experience.

I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again on my next visit.
