La ubicación!!! Y la recepcionista muy amable, pero la limpieza pésima!!!la carpeta en los pasillos sucias!!!y un olor muy desagradable a mugre!!! Porfavor cambien las carpetas y limpien bien ese hotel es terrible y nauseabundo el olor!! Yo compré Productos ,y limpie la habitación , ya que fui con mis nietos .
The location to Olde Mystic Village and the Aquarium was super convenient; the afternoon check in guy was wonderful, super informative and very helpful.
The woman operating the desk for the morning shift was rather short and curt. The air conditioning in the room struggled to work; room felt humid and sticky. Shower had mold spots
Many years staying here. Beds are very comfortable, very clean rooms and excellent friendly staff. Excellent towels and no odd smells in the room. My niece loved the the very clean pool. The best place to stay in Mystic as it is near everything I like to do.
They only thing I would like to add as I am now a very senior woman I would have liked a grab bar in the shower.

This place is a dump. They tried to upgrade it with new fixtures but that’s just lipstick on a pig. It’s a very, very old property and it shows. I think it was worth 1/5 of what we had to pay for it.
Moldy bathroom
Paid for breakfast when booking but this hotel never offered a breakfast. Booked a king room but "king" was only a headboard. Dirty carpet in the hallway and stairs. Smell in the room.
Good Space, Good Rooms and Comfy Beds.
Subpar hotel with a bad moldy smell. No soap at either sink and 2 of 3 doors in the room wouldn’t shut properly. Do not recommend staying here.
Convenient location, reasonably priced, staff was pleasant.
There were tons of spiders on the deck , so couldn't really enjoy the deck and killed three in the room.
I just woke up in a very comfortable, clean room at the Mystic Howard Johnson's.
My sister and I wanted to spend an extra day in the Mystic area, but new guests were arriving at our brother's house so we had to find somewhere to stay.
The location is central to everything. The front desk staff was friendly, the room was clean and beds were very comfortable. TV, refrigerator, and a microwave. In room 104 I heard no other guests. I felt my car was safe in the parking lot.
For what we needed, the negatives are not enough to give a poor review. I had to go ask for a bar of hand soap as none was in the bathroom. The halls are dingy. The breakfast offered is just a 10 percent discount at the restaurant across the parking lot. Even if I was here with my family of four, that would not have been a big deal.
Though coffee on site or a coffee maker in the room is usually a standard amenity at even the cheapest hotels.
*I read a review that said the pool was not well kept, but when I am in Mystic CT, I am going to the beach not the HOJOs pool so I am not even going to look.
Nothing. We are absolutely outraged, we will be in contact with Booking.com’s customer service portal. The price that we paid was INSANE for what we got. We also did not stay over night due to bugs and a man walking around our floor out of his mind. The booking did NOT match any description.
We had a HORRID experience. And the only thing to make it better would be a refund becuase that was quite literally outrageous and makes me never want to trust booking.com again after that. $400 for a NIGHTMARE evening that we didn’t even proceed to stay over.
