We were only here for 2 nights for our son’s archery tournament and this hotel was sufficient for those 2 nights.
Pros:

Room size was good, staff was friendly, location was good.

Cons:

Elevators were very slow, breakfast room was small and crowded and wished there was another option to get to the stairs to the beach besides through the pool area as we had to walk down the street to another entrance to watch the sunrise on the beach.

I love this hotel. Great location Great staff (most of them). This is our go to Daytona hotel. The breakfast is great and great options.

We come here often and I was disappointed in the cleanliness of one of our rooms (we booked 2 this year because of how many of us were staying). And I am very down to earth and understand things happen. However there were multiple issues this time. They corrected the cleanliness right away. Then they were doing work on the building and again I know stuff happens beyond our control and I absolutely understand upkeep and code regulations. However, like 2 days into our stay all day all I heard was pounding. The next day all we heard was pounding. And it was just tapping it was echoing pounding. So I went to the front desk. I was told it was going to continue for days. I told them it was unacceptable. No where in any of anything I read stated that I would have to listen to pounding during my stay. So I told them it's not right and by this time I have a migraine. I was sent to see the manager on duty and they were taken aback and a little irritated that I was even sent there. Then I was told well it's only during the day. What ?? What ?? So I have to not be in a room that I paid for because of pounding?? Yes we had plans to do different things, however we would come back to our room and shower, relax, take a nap ect......It's none of their business. I thought to myself this is not very professional. They ended up changing my room, which was fine even though it was smaller. I'm not a difficult person and generally just go with the flow. I also didn't like that there seems to be less and less tables, chairs and lounge chairs by the pool 🤔

Pros:

The staff was friendly, and breakfast was great. The beach was beautiful, and the oceanview room was amazing.

2 slow elevators, 1 was broke half of the time.

Did not stay in the end when I saw the room given its poor cleanliness and decor.
Pros:

The cleanliness and decor was very poor. There was also a crack in one of the window panels. The room was next to the highway and was very nosiy - there was single glazing.

The overall aethestics are dated and its not somewhere that I'd recommend to stay.

Cons:

Everything, other than the seaside location.
