The St. Anthony, a Luxury Collection Hotel, San Antonio

The conceirge was amazing and i am really greatful for her making my stay great - the hotel itself is tierd and in need of great renovation, only one lift out of three was working. I also had to change rooms 3 times, the sound from two of the rooms sounded like a turbine from outside, finally in the third room it was quiet. For a premium hotel i really would expect better, things like broken blinds in the room, cracked window seals, etc. This hotel was very disappointing given its its luxury status, the hotel was anything but luxury

Great location, pool with very nice view, very helpful concierges. The gym should be checked, a few machines do not really work anymore or lack necessary parts.

Amazing stay, truly appreciate the attention to hotel residents by the staff specifically Dean. If I’m back in San Antonio I’ll be sure to book a stay here again.

A great historical building, old and beautiful. Excellent beds, I slept really well in my quiet and cosy room. Everything is a bit old of course, so not perfect but charming. Very nice, friendly staff, always ready to help. The only real issue is the elevators: they are not enough, slow and not working well, I had to wait up to 15 minutes to get one! This has to be fixed, but in general I really recommend the place, especially for who likes to escape from the usual hotel chains that are all exactly the same in the US!

Room was ok. Pool area was exceptional. Downstairs Lobby area and Bar exceptional. Electric car charging a plus! 10 minute walk to the Convention Center.

Staff was amazing from day 1 when we arrived. everyday we stayed, we were greeted with friendly smiles and Jen the Hotel manager was very talkative with us and was Amazing. One of the other management team members(I believe) Monica, walked us to have a drink on the Hotel for my birthday and made a reservation for the restaurant. Awesome service! While dining at the restaurant we were greeted by the general manager. Edith our waitress answered all of our questions of the menu. all I can say is AMAZING, AMAZING , AMAZING...... We would like to reserve a day with all our family member! (6 adult children and 8 grandchildren.

Wonderful experience… everyone we encountered was wonderful friendly and respectful. Henry went above and beyond. Will stay here again for sure

Almost everything

I stayed here for a conference in April and booked several rooms once the room block was established. Not sure what happened but even though I reserved King rooms, we only received one, and were given double beds for the rest. The hotel is very classy and suited our needs for the couple days in town.

The rooms are well appointed and the bed and pillows were excellent to sleep in. Being that it is an older hotel, it took awhile for the hot water to come out of the shower head. The second day, the water pressure was extremely low, so I’m not sure if that can be fixed or not. I noticed a slight musty smell in the rooms, just wasn’t sure if it was due to the humidity.

They have a small gym on the 6th floor which I used. Not many weights, but a couple pieces of cardio equipment and tread mills. They provide water and damp towels as well.

The hotel is located a couple blocks from the river walk, so it was in a convenient location for us, close to the restaurants, bars, and the Alamo. It is only 15 minutes from the airport as well.

I would return if in the area.

The valet service was great. Adam was very respectful and extremely nice. He went over and beyond helping me get my luggage in and out of my car, up the stairs, and into the lobby. Adam even told me some great places to go eat and places to visit. Adam is hands down the best!!

The service provided by valets and doormen at St Anthony’s was spectacular. Coming back from an evening stroll we would be greeted by doorman with a ‘Welcome Back’, and it’s the little things like that which made our stay memorable. Maid service was just okay - they didn’t do restocking while cleaning, but because we had such great doormen service, I’m giving 5 stars. I especially want to call out Roldan, Henry, and Zackary for helping us everyday with either storing our bikes, helping with luggage, or just being genuinely welcoming every encounter.

All Staff was extremely helpful and friendly. Hotel is beautiful and great location.

The atmosphere was great and the hotel was super organized on a busy weekend in San Antonio! Joshua at the valet was helpful when I left something in my car and made us feel super welcome!

Had the BEST valet and he deserves the review! Joshua was attentive, courteous and responded to our needs quickly! Thank you, Joshua!
