Worst ever experienced
Nothing
Dear Booking.com Customer Support,
I would like to raise a serious complaint regarding my recent hotel booking made through Booking.com.
I paid approximately ₹2,500 + taxes for the room, but the actual experience was extremely disappointing and nowhere close to what one would reasonably expect from a paid hotel room.
The room was only approximately 10 ft × 6 ft, with a 4 ft × 6 ft bed occupying most of the available space. The mattress itself had an unpleasant smell, which made it uncomfortable to stay in the room.
There were also a large number of mosquitoes inside the room. The bathroom was extremely small, with hardly enough space to take a proper shower comfortably.
The overall condition and atmosphere of the property were also very poor. From the moment I entered the hotel lobby and approached the room, the surroundings gave the impression of a poorly maintained lodging area rather than a proper hotel. The room itself felt more like a dormitory or very low-grade accommodation than a hotel room.
Considering that I paid ₹2,500 + taxes, I strongly feel that the property was completely misrepresented in terms of the experience and standard that a customer would expect from a Booking.com-listed hotel.
In fact, I would say that the value for money was not zero — it was negative.
I would also strongly recommend that Booking.com improve its quality-control process. Before allowing a property to be listed and promoted on your platform, Booking.com should consider physically inspecting the property and verifying the actual room size, hygiene, bathroom facilities, bed/mattress condition and overall standard of accommodation. Ideally, such properties should undergo a proper quality inspection rather than relying only on photographs and information provided by the hotel.
I request Booking.

*Title: Worst Hotel Experience Ever - Avoid Akash Inn*
I stayed at Akash Inn and it was an extremely bad experience.
The rooms are very small. There is no fan in the room and the AC does not work properly. The worst part is their AC policy — as soon as you step out of the room for any work, their staff switches off the AC from the main switch outside. Even if you have already turned off the AC properly and locked the room, they still cut the power. So every time you return, you have to call them and ask them to turn the AC back on. This is very inconvenient.
During checkout, when I asked for the final amount and took out my calculator to check the bill, one of their managers got completely frustrated. He started speaking very loudly and rudely. When I asked if this is how they talk to guests, he became even more aggressive and started waving his hands as if he was abusing me.
This was the worst hotel experience I have ever had. I will never recommend this hotel to anyone.
